Another short, midweek trip for us after the FGR one. Then we're back down that neck of the woods at Cheltenham on Saturday so we might as well just set up camp down there this week.

I read a quote from Shaun Harvey the other week and basically, these long midweek games are done on purpose to ensure high crowds for the Saturday local games. Nothing like making the already difficult games even more difficult to get to!

We're not scoring many, but we're not conceding many either. Missed Anderson on Saturday, who is a goal threat from wide and has a bit of direct running in him. Raggett returns from suspension.

Too many players were under-par on Saturday, which is unlike us. A very 'meh' performance.

Last time we played at Swindon, we won 1-0, which is about 11 years ago to the day. Jamie Forrester scoring to take us to the top of L2. Good away day, that.

Hard to disagree with Harvey on this one though Luke, looking at things from a purely financial perspective. The number of those diehard fans that follow their clubs all over the country is quite insignificant to the much bigger potential interest from locals to their sides home matches. Clubs stand to lose much more if they only get say 3k instead of the 4k they normally get for Sat home matches, while otoh a decrease from 200 away fans to say a 100 for a long midweek trip is quite insignificant.

Hopefully play a lot better than we did on Saturday , especially going forward very flat like Luke said!
Interesting to see what Danny will do with his 19 man squad.

Difficult game to predict, away from home we have one of the best records in the EFL, at home we can be dire, depending on how Lincoln play, this could be a win, draw or a lose , .............hey i dont sit on the fence.......hehehehe

I'd like to see us kick the ball directly into the goal this evening. No deflections, not an OG or a penalty, an actual goal. It's all I ask

Is it that bad? You can have 1 if we can have 2.

How about that?

Not really. I think the weekend's performance just a bit 'meh'. It was probably the first game this season where we've not created a few chances but we were playing against a side who played a flat back four with two CM's right in front of them so it was never going to be one full of chances given that we're quite stingy ourselves so far this season.

3 changes for us.

Habergham is presumably injured so Long comes in, which means we've got two RB's in full back areas, Raggett in for Waterfall and Arnold for Palmer, which means Knott in behind Green.

Dreadful, dreadful game. £50 for this crap - no thanks. Usually, you say it’s got to get better in the 2nd half. I doubt it.

Not a result I was expecting. Another clean sheet, I'm sure another dreadful game but somehow ground out a win! Well done Lincoln!!

Sean Raggett has scored that header many times before at crucial moments. FGR away last season that swung the league momentum towards us. Stevenage this season.

Gonna miss him :'(

1-0 away wins are always satisfactory.

Read like we created the better chances, had one off the line and hit the post and the highlights confirm what I could glean from updates last night, so a deserved win on the face of it.

Our home form has been diabolical in 2017. This needs work or we are going to be a mid-table mediocrity side.

Our away form this season is brilliant but we are plodding donkeys at home.

Well done Lincoln, sounds like you deserved it based on my twitter updates from the local press.
