Absolute no-brainer from Sky. Bit of a bummer they've changed the date though

Its because they packed Easter Monday with Championship matches. You would have thought our game is a bit more important than Wolves v Leeds, which is hardly a top of the table clash is it?

I know it's called Televised games but its really all about Bristol City v Swindon Tom, please refrain from trying to garner (no pun intended) interest on your frankly meaningless match! :bye:

What do you mean it's a huge game? The paying public will be treated to world class talent such as Richard Stearman, Jack Price and uhhh... Steve Morison!

In which case could we make this the Bristol City v Swindon match thread and keep the bitching away from every other thread on this forum that keeps getting hi-jacked? Just a thought.....

Where's the bitching Joseph?

I was having a bit of a laugh with my Preston mate Tom in case that wasn't patently obvious.

Should be good, I enjoy when L1 games are on TV. Considering the quality of the teams it should be a quality game, looking forward to seeing Nathan Byrne again.

The game being televised - great news, the game being changed to a Tuesday night - an absolute joke.

Just doesn't feel the same on a Tuesday nighttime as a Saturday day (or in this case, would of been Monday,) and I have absolutely no idea why Wolves vs Leeds is on Easter Monday, rather than the City vs Swindon game.

Personally I do mate - Tuesday games for me are a rush due to work commitments, the atmosphere is usually dull (admittedly this one won't be) and Saturday is the traditional football day.

Saturday morning - get the train down with some mates, pub crawl chatting football, into the ground, enjoy the game, and then walk back to the train station, and back into the local to discuss the game.

Tuesday's are just a rush there and back for me - it isn't the full match day experience.

Sorry to bore you with that personal anecdote, but that is the reason for my opinion on Tuesday night games.

Not boring at all mate, interesting actually as it's different from me. For me the atmosphere is always better in midweek (although that's obviously club-specific) and in general I like watching football in the dark, nothing better than tucking into hot chips on a freezing cold night, its what footballs all about for me.

Yeah, I've not been to AG this season but the atmosphere is usually a lot better for night games, imo.

The world would rather watch the aerial prowess of Richard Stearman vs the sheer force of Steve Morison go head to head whilst finishing off their easter eggs and chocolate rabbits.
