We head into this midweek clash with Bury and MK in very different positions to what will have been predicted at the start of the season.

MK have started the season in a stop start fashion, they lie in the middle of the table after a 4-1 win at Fleetwood. However it's their home form that's been the problem and after only taking 2 points at home all season they'll be looking to get a win here.

On the other hand Bury are in a rich vein of form and have won 4 on the bounce after their victory over Chesterfield from a late Tom Pope goal and will want to continue their run as a possible top of the table clash with Scunthorpe beckons.

Who will win? Thoughts, predictions and general chit chat in here please!

I think you'll win, we haven't won at home all season and are just pretty shite there. No home win in 10 games, not massively looking forward to this with your good form!

Shit (hot) Fred title, think we will drop all 3 points here as be are bloody good at snapping other teams bad runs.

Our run against Wee Willy Winky's boys is pathetic at best.

2-0 home win

Our track record vs. M.K. Dons is dismally dismal, even more dismal than a dismal day out in dismal bolton in the most dismal month of the most dismal winter ever recorded.
Think we've only one win against them?
However, they seem to be struggling at home but the win at the coast on Saturday may inspire them.
Going for my usual away point, maybe 2-2.

Good work with the fred title by the way!

The first game I remember playing against bury was I think a first game of the season match at Stadium:MK I'm fairly certain you beat us 3-1 and embarrassed us. Hopefully not the same tomorrow...

Our dire home run has got to end sometime and on a Tuesday night against second place, why not. Actually I can think of a few reasons why not but you never know. That win against Fleetwood might just be the catalyst we need.

Prick Paul Ince had a massive tantrum and fit at the ref at FT. The irony of that awful manager doing that just months after hassling officials for 90 mins at Gigg Lane when manager of Macclesfield Town made it all the more sweeter.
Franchise avenged that win with a 5-1 win at Gigg Lane when we were managerless the following January.

Bolton is that dismal it has a pub called 'the Alma' with a picture of the Charge of the Light Brigade on it. The Charge of the Light Brigade famously happened at Balaclava and not 'the Alma.':lol::lol:

Sunny September alright with 5 wins in 5. Just hope we show a good account of ourselves on Saturday. Certainly our toughest game yet.

No offence intended to Bury but we really should have won tonight, they scored 3 goals without being that good in an attacking sense.

They were very solid and had a plan what they stuck too but also got lucky. Only scored because they took advantage of our fucking awful defence, what made mistake after mistake and gifted 3 goals. We hit the post twice and really should have had a penalty, another ref and that's given.

Robinson really needs to fuck off.

Win when we play (or are forced to play) poorly and I'm happy with that

You should be, I really don't want to be critical or offensive to bury tonight. You stuck to your game plan wonderfully, and the strike for the first goal was great.

But he shouldn't have been given the opportunity to shoot, downing is absolutely shocking. It was all our fault, when it went 1-1 I thought we would smash you in all honesty as we were knocking on the door all game. We decided to be wank instead.

We had to put a Cm on for a RB at HT and a unexperienced but talented guy at CB after about 20 mins - Therefore we were always going to be on the backfoot. Our front 4 always look like bagging 2 or more between them so that always give us a chance. Yes IF MK took their chances that it might have been a different story but they didn't take their chances and we did. Thats what football is about.

Whilst we are playing the IF game. If Wee Willy Winkleman wasn't a fucking scumbag then we wouldn't have even been playing in MK last night. Alas he is, we were and we got 3 points.
Anyway goals are not given for hitting the post, Williams pulls off several good saves to keep you out and you are gifted an equaliser with some joke defending yet again from us. We are short on numbers and had several players filling in out of position last night, and you still couldn't capitalise.
Play badly and win or play well and lose, I know which I would rather.
Onwards and upwards

Looking at MK Dons' side last night, I was surprised how little Agard and Maynard offered, despite the number of shots they had as a side. Lewington was solid like every time I see him and Reeves was definitely the best player in a white shirt - everything went through him for MK Dons. Expected to see more threat from Colclough considering Bury had three different players at right back last night.
