Having met him in person and seen he was a real nice person he had time always for the fans
He gave 100% for ENGLAND

Rakish Bingham... I know he hasn't made his debut yet, but that is only because Hodgson wants to save him for the Euros, and knows he doesn't need the experience playing in friendlies and qualifiers would give him.

If you change it to best English player you've seen on your home ground you can still have Gazza , thanks to the League Cup ... I too have met him , unfortunately he was going through his " I'm a knobhead" stage , it was in Portugal just after he'd done his leg in and he was shunning all the kids ..... as for the best England player to play at Pools David Seaman was an awesome sight when Arsenal played

Yes he was having a problem getting his first goal so Rioch played a very strong team but alas it never worked ... bearing in mind Arsenal were 5 up from the first leg it was a fantastic turn out of away fans .... A proper big club they are

Adidas are apparently wanting Bingham to create his own national team. Adidas are just seeing the £ signs, but if anyone can do it and make a successful national team on his own, it's Rakish.

I'm not too sure ... I was in the CK that night and the Beeb had a camera pointing at " under pressure " Bruce Rioch , I was concentrating on being in the background ... never got on of course ....although I was interviewed after the Blackpool play off , got on look north !

From memory, it would be Paul Merson who was playing for Middlesbrough against us in the League Cup back in 97/98. He took a load of abuse from all of us on the East Terrace but to give him his due he responded to it pretty well. I don't think Emerson reacted so well to what was chanted at him though!
