Cambridge United havent lost at Brunton Park since 1995, an amazing statistic, we even got a point saturday. I cant see how this can be the case as United are as soft as a Newport County in 1970.
I can only make sense of this by recalling the Carp that was found floundering in the Carlisle penalty area during the floods, and may have been used as a supplementary centre forward. Maybe one of the Carlisle forwards had somehow, through slight of hand, got a carp on the pitch, in a tank, during saturdays game thinking it would score. I would not put this sharp practice beyond them, or the manager.
It did not. This may be an alternative explanation. We all have a talent indicator, ranging from bright green for a good player, to dark red for a bad un. My talent indicator has a fish for an indicator, signalling a player with a talent lower than red, and has the flashing of a Carp.

I wonder if the talent level at Carlisle is at the level of a Carp, and when pointing it, it would start to smoke, and blow up. This must be correct or close to it, after drawing with Cambridge. If a carp made it onto the pitch saturday, maybe the manager thought it had more mobility, and speed than most Carlisle players.

I suggest these CUFC guys consider disowning this citizen of Littleport and sending him to Australia, as they did some of his forefathers (the lucky ones who didn't get hung).

I hear that the other CUFC had similar problems with a younger embarassing miscreant - I believe that he went by the name of Carver. Meeting a member of the opposite sex seems to have improved his demeanour.

Starvation was the sad cause of Littleport invading Ely with horses and carts. One man went to his death blaming himself. Grain was being withheld for profit. Corruption is not a contemporary affliction.
Corruption may be too strong a word, but i think we are being mugged every time Cambridge, Carlisle, Macclesfield etc stagger onto the pitch and call it football.
Div 4 football is like fishing, and catching gudgeon. Or davinci painting with a hand with no fingers. Its pretty appalling.

Isnt it.

How else can i say it? Lets try again. Div 4, or div 2....the football is appalling. Vanni, havent you seen Jake Carroll play.? Hes on at least 60 grand. Our club bought a Hartlepool reserve. Yes, we paid money. Connor Newton? Reggie Lambe? That lad Davies, the right back, Ryan Donaldson, a reasonable footballer who didnt give a s....t. The list is endless.

I rest my case.
