This Saturday marks our first trip to Exeter since 1991 and I reckon quite a few of our fans will be following us to tick this one off.

Think our team will be - Garratt, Turton, Ray, Guthrie, Nugent, Cooper, Hollands, Jones, Kirk, Bowery, Dagnall even though I don't want Kirk starting but Artell likes and wants to continue developing him.

If we finally rediscover how to hit the target I genuinely believe we can get something down at Exeter. Yes they're in form and will be a tough proposition for us, but I genuinely can see this being another Grimsby type game where the opposition who were full of confidence succumb to good counter attacking play and finishing. It's also worth noting that Danny Hollands had his best game in a Crewe shirt vs Exeter earlier in the season and how he plays will probably be crucial as to how we do on Saturday. With Artell, we finally have an attacking manager who wants the team to create chances rather than a dullard who sits back and rests all his hopes on a moment of individual brilliance to nick a rare 1-0 win with a 0-0 draw always being considered as a "good point".

Realistically thinking though, I'm going for Exeter 1-1 Crewe. Would take a point here but only if we beat Grimsby at home next week! I think we'll create lots of chances too but our lack of confidence in front of goal may come back to haunt us. Still we're long overdue a day where every shot we have seems to hit the back of the net...

I'd snap your hand off for 1-1. I'm worried about taking a pounding looking at Exeter's form.
We don't tend to do long trips South well at the best of times.

Anything but a defeat here will be huge but we need st the very least 4 points from our next three otherwise bad things could snowball rather quickly.

I'm intrigued by Margetts. Far too good for the Conference, not quite up to the top end of League One. He could be a shrewd little signing looking at his record. I'd start him ahead of the completely pointless Dagnall.

So we're now going into games expecting to win, which has the potential to blow up in our faces. Despite another decent win on Tuesday, Tisdale was quite critical of our defending and warned the players against becoming complacent which is good to see.

Crewe are struggling but under a new manager so still a bit of an unknown quantity and I'm wary of that.

Looks like we don't have any new injuries so Ollie Watkins will start and the only query for me will be if Joel Grant keeps his place against his former club or will Ryan Harley return to the starting 11.

Should be a good crowd and atmosphere once again, so am hoping for a high tempo performance.

Will predict another win but 2-1. Crewe to take the lead but we score two second half goals from Wheeler and Grant to score the winner.

Tough game, I remember winning the 1st game 2-0 and thinking the score line really flattered us.

Exeter 1-1 Crewe Margetts with our goal in front of 268 travelling railwaymen.

Praying for a good old fashioned St James Park cock up!

Can't see it happening you lot are on fire and Crewe are not very good. I seem to remember posting a couple months back that I could envisage this run happening considering the front 4 you guys have and lo and behold!

I have a very strange ECFC complex in that when you are doing bad, I want you to do well again, and then when you're doing well I want quite the opposite. Perhaps I need to see a rivalry psychologist. Come on Crewe.

I think you do need to see someone!!!

You're right though, arguably our front three of Watkins, Wheeler and Reid is pretty much the best combo in the division as each one offers something a little bit different. Add to that Lee Holmes to make the four but sadly he is out injured, although clearly we've not missed him.

Crewe have been poor but we're going to chuck in a bad performance sooner or later so we have to be on our game tomorrow to get anything.

It would be lovely to go into the Devon Derby on the 11th still unbeaten...!

This is a weird thread. Came on here expecting Grecian bullishness v Railwaymen doom and gloom, but getting the opposite.

Pleased with that. Weren't really at the races first half and needed a fantastic double save from Pym to wake us up in the second. Crewe probably weren't as bad as the score line suggests but we were worthy of our win. Jack Stacey my motm.

Hope the injuries we picked up aren't bad. Really need all of them for next week.
