£250,000 is a very welcome amount for either club in the middle of a January window with both sides desperate for an extra player or two.

therefore this should be a highly contested match with both sides very very eager to get through.

Its a huge week for Carlisle really as we return back to Brunton Park on Saturday, but it would be huge for us to head into that game on a confidence boost of a big tv money spinning match, on flip side Yeovil being stuck in the bottom 3 know just a fraction of extra money to allow them a chance to improve their side even by a player could make a difference.

As for the game, well I'm worried that we don't look like scoring from open play at present, we've changed our tactics to go for set piece goals and it blooming shows, maybe we need to get back to 3 at the back and the mad-cap style of previously.

got to be goals............9 goals already in 2 matches between both.

It will be fairly gutting to lose this with knowing what's at stake...

We really should be good enough to go and do the job though, no excuses.

Yeovil 0-3 Carlisle

We should win, but I have my doubts given as Dave says how toothless we've been recently.

Tomorrow night will be one month to the day since we last won a match.

I don't care how we win. Penalties, a fluked own goal, a hand of God goal, I don't give a shit, just as long as we get through.

I'm sticking £50 on Yeovil to progress, purely to give myself some compensation should we fuck this up.

It would be very nice to get a windfall but if it was us who gets it we won't see a penny being spent on players. It would just be used to keep the club running.

Not sure about the replay, hard to say who'll win. I think it'll be quite tight and the odd goal could make the difference.

There's a rumour going round that Zoko might miss the game through injury. He got a hefty whack in the face on Saturday, he was down inside our area for 2 or 3 minutes with blood pouring out but the ref wouldn't stop the game. He managed to finish the game though so I'm not sure how much to believe it. His contract ends on Wednesday so he'll probably leave anyway.

Aren't you extending his contract?

That would be a boost for us if he doesn't play tomorrow.

I'm still not overly confident about this one, and if we're to progress I think we need to play better than we did last week. I'd be utterly gutted if we don't though, knowing there's so much at stake.

I do wonder if Curle will start Gillespie instead of Hanford, and I'd imagine there'll be several changes from the 'home' tie.

Gillespie has to start, Curle will surely not take any risks considering the prize pot at stake. I do have a bad feeling about this one but at the same time we're a much better side on paper and our away form has been pretty great this season. Huish Park is certainly no Anfield but if our players could get up for it as much as they did that night then we'd smash Yeovil, however I fear the more likely scenario is us playing alright, not scoring and then conceding in the 75th minute and not responding.

All our fans would love us to renew his contract but we've got a history of letting players go that we really should be keeping. I hope I'm wrong.

Keeping Zoko is the difference between staying up and going down in my opinion, he's a clear cut above the other players we have at the club (though I wish he would shoot more often), and I think this game (financially at least) is the difference between keeping Zoko and losing him - though obviously would be delighted to be proved wrong.

I am not too fussed this game is away from home, it at least is one aspect we can easily handle, we play a style which doesn't matter whether home or away and also travelling wise will be no set of players in England more accustomed to this by now.

I'm hoping with the biggish draw that maybe pressure of the home crowd works in our favour, that the Yeovil fans maybe have expectations heading into it and that in turn makes their players bottle it.............has happened with us before and many others.

we have nowt to lose really, should just play our usual way, try and go for 2 goals and then let Yeovil have to get their 2-3 goals to win it. If we do have a problem is this game is maybe a side issue for us, our bigger game this week is actually Saturday where we return to BP, but it would be massive to return back knowing a big game is coming up.

do not know generally what Curle will do, he's always un-readable.

Think we've stayed down south after Saturday's match, so travelling won't be an issue for this game.

I agree, he has to. But I think Curle will stick with Hanford. It would be a big fuck you to drop Hanford after playing him in all the FA Cup games so far.

if we got through do you then think he'd stick with Hanford vs Everton live on tv??

I bet he wouldn't, therefore he doesn't need to here.

Yes, I think if we get through tomorrow, whoever plays will play v Everton imo. So if Hanford plays tomorrow and we get through, Hanford will play next round. Likewise if Gillespie plays tomorrow and we get through, Gillespie will play next round.

Curle put our top scorer on the bench at Anfield. Benching Gillespie v Everton would be easy.

Benching Jabo is a case of tactics though, we were always more likely to score against a good defence if we stuck someone tricky like Asamoah up front. Gillespie and Hanford is a straight swap, no change in tactics just a much better keeper.

Stuck £45 on Yeovil to go through at 1/1 with Coral. Best odds I could get.

Obviously hoping and preying i lose the lot.

Kevin Dawson and Simon Gillett could both make their first appearances for us tonight since getting injured against Man United in January last year.

No Jabo? Good news for us, unlike the fact Hanford isn't playing...boo!

No Darren Ward for us tonight, that's a big miss.

Wyke and Hope up front should be interesting. Very very glad to see Gillespie back in the team, looks like a simple 4-4-2 again, surprised KC hasn't made some changes to be honest as he's a tinkerman at the best of times and we were never scoring against Barnet supposedly.

Jabo is on the bench, just a slight knock I guess Curle doesn't want to use him unless required. It's not totally surprising, he hasn't figured a whole lot in cups this season.

Maybe Curle expected Yeovil to try and just shut Jabo up again, stick someone big on him to stop him winning headers and linking play. Then he swaps him for Hope who is smaller but much, much quicker and trickier. This could be a big game for Hope, in his favoured position alongside someone big like Wyke he could thrive. Ideal situation is Hope plays a blinder, we win and then sign Liddle and Hope on permanents tomorrow.

Curle mentioned after the Barnet game that Jabo is nursing a slight injury. Obviously will only use him if absolutely necessary.

Gilliead being back in the 11 is a boost, need a performance from him.

Zoko really does scare the shit out of me.

It's interesting that Walsh is playing for Yeovil as surely whatever happens he won't be involved in the next round?

Quite possibly, but anything that can help to get us through is a bonus.

Now going to be over a month without a win.

It's a good job we've got this points tally in the league because we are the shit of the division at the moment.

This match is just about done I'd say. We're toothless at the moment, can't see us scoring 2 unfortunately.
