So Bristol City vs Cardiff will probably get more attention, but we also have another severnside rivalry game this weekend with Rovers vs Newport.

Would have been confident with this one, but Newport seem to possibly be on the new manager bounce and our home form is less than stellar so far. Would like to think we can squeeze out a win but not confident as i was.

I'll go 1-0 Rovers with a Billy Bodin goal.

I'd echo what miagsygas has said above.

Think we're probably playing Newport at the wrong time. Their new manager, backroom staff and signings have clearly had a positive impact and they'll be a different beast to the Terry Buther side that started the season so poorly.

They'll no doubt be well up for the match and high on confidence after an impressive win at Wycombe.

The pressure will be on Rovers playing at home against a side bottom of the table but we haven't won at the Mem in the league for over 2 month's and have already lost 4 there this season.

Newport don't score many away from home but they actually don't concede many either, they've let in just 8 on their travels which is the 7th best in the division.

As a rule Rovers also defend pretty well so I think it's probably going to be quite tight. I'll also go 1-0 Rovers with Gosling to grab the winner.

Now now, only one Brizzle team is allowed a good result so that has to be City over err City haha. 3-1 Newport, don't care who scores.

I went mad and got the bigger plate on the last trip to Toby .....although you feel like an absolute pig filling it up in front of normal people , it's so worth it when you sit down

Didn't see that one coming. Sheridan has got us organised, got a couple of decent loanees in and, most importantly, instilled a bit of self-belief in the squad. He's also lucky that a lot of injured players are fit again/getting fit.

Play-offs here we come

Actually, I will be very, very happy if we end up third from the bottom. Long way to go, but it looks a little bit better tonight.

Fantastic result for Newport. Wonder if 'Linesy' would swap any players with Orient yet?

I'd take that too especially after all the happenings during pre-season etc. We're now getting some much needed confidence and we are now seemingly playing as a team, so I am confident we can do what's needed to stay in the division.

Disgusting performance. A complete abomination. Weird thing is I didn't even see it coming, just everyone had an off day. Terrible individual mistakes too. Just dreadful.

Credit to Newport on the three points.

I don't feel so bad we lost 2-0 at home to County last tuesday after this result. I can't stand Sheridan but he's not a bad manager,he inherited a team that were managed by Butcher hence why they were bottom.

Sheridan is doing a fine job

Providing you get a ref who stands upto their antics, you've a decent chance of beating Bristol.

Sheridan was an excellent appointment, they were all over the place in the 3-0 loss to Mansfield last month, it's clear he's got them playing how they should. He did well at Plymouth and Chesterfield, and a clear knowledge of the league which butcher clearly hadn't

Clarke is maybe finding football league management is harder than he thought - he was a fine passing midfielder, if he played tactics like that he might fare better

Fair play Miagsy, takes alot to criticise your own team. That's our job (to criticise your team).

I'll criticise when we play as bad as that, think I'm quite honest in that respect, we didn't deserve anything. DC has tore into them, let's just hope it was a one off.
