The revenge of the Reds! Crawley v Yeovil

First game of the new year. A happy one to all.

You ripped us a new one down in Yeovil (5-0, five bloody nil).

I'm not really looking for revenge as such. I just want to win this one a little bit more than usual. Having said that, Yeovil are one of the teams we don't seem to do well against (5-0!) so I'll take any sort of win from this game.

2-1 and revenge will be apple pie and custard.

Yorwerth header from a Cox corner (his first assist for the Reds) and a Collins penalty.

I thought the penalty was harsh but the people standing around me seemed to think it was justified.

Josh Payne should have been sent off. You are not allowed to push your forehead into peoples faces anymore. The Yeovil player helped by going down as though George Foreman had taken a swing at him. Both players booked.

Seemed to get a bit niggley towards the end.

Fully deserved win for your boys, can't quite believe that's the same team that turned up at Huish Park a month ago...

I also thought the penalty was a little harsh (albeit from a long way away) but there was an outstanding save in the second half from our centre back, which the ref inexplicably missed so can't really complain.

We were terrible in general though, hopefully the 2 week break can help us get everyone back to fitness with a tough run coming up.
