How the f have you come up with tha tload of tosh? Wimbledon at home 0 then us at ours 3? Donny away 0? Burton at home 1? Have you just thrown dice?

Anyway, can't be arsed going through all our fixtures just to have some twat say 'How have you come up with that load of tosh' so I'll just say we will be in the Playoffs and above the best team in League 1. ;)

Nah i just don't expect us to not lose another home game and Wimbledon seems the one likeliest we drop.

Hopefully the 3 points at MK condemns you to another season in this league.....

One of those predictions is definitely correct - 3 points from us last game of the season. Our players will have been on the beach for a couple of weeks having secured mid-table anonymity.

I predicted our results from now until the end of the season and got 91 Points. I think Rotherham beat that, the question is whether anyone else will...

I think that's reasonable considering we've won 6 of the last 8 and I wouldn't put a result past us today although I don't think either side are relishing the game - by which I mean being confident in taking all 3 points, I think it will be more than watchable though. If my predictions above are at all accurate the difference between a win, loss or draw today might sway us in or out of the top six.

Based on the last 10 completed seasons, 75 points would seem to pretty much guarantee a play-off place:

2020/21 - 75
2018/19 - 73
2017/18 - 69
2016/17 - 73
2015/16 - 75
2014/15 - 66
2013/14 - 68
2012/13 - 72
2011/12 - 74
2010/11 - 71

At the lower end of the scale, Chesterfield got in with just 69 points back in 2014/15. The unluckiest teams have been Charlton on 74 last season and Scunthorpe on 74 back in 2015/16.

So, percentage-wise here's what you need:
75+ points 100% chance
74 points 80% chance
73 points 70% chance
72 points 50% chance
71 points 40% chance
69-70 points 30% chance
68 points 20% chance
66-67 points 10% chance

(it's been a quiet morning)

Thanks for that, so 25 points in 17 games, ten of which are at home.

Our form pre-January was 18th (around there, can't remember exactly where we were in the table before NYD) but since then we're 4 wins in 7 and 8th.

I still can't really work us out, and that inconsistency will continue for the rest of the season.

Wasn't going to bother with this, but seeing as we've won two on the bounce and we're just about hanging onto an outside chance of the play-offs, here goes:

Crewe (A) - 3
Shrewsbury (A) - 1
Fleetwood (H) - 3
Oxford (H) - 1
Accrington (H) - 3
Ipswich (A) - 0
Plymouth (A) - 1
Wycombe (H) - 3
Bolton (A) - 0
Rotherham (H) - 0
Cheltenham (A) - 3
Lincoln (H) - 3
Morecambe (A) - 1
Gillingham (H) - 3
Wigan (H) - 1
Sheffield Wed (A) - 0

Those optimistic predictions will leave us on 70 points, so a 30% chance of gate-crashing the play-offs. Can't see it really.

We're +2 points on my predictions, so final points tally has risen to 72.

It might do. You've got one of the easier run-ins, fixture wise.

No interest in how many points we get between now and May......Only consistent performances and partnerships building for next season

Other than a few clubs mid table who aren't going to be in the play off or relegation mix I don't think is quite as obvious as table position being a factor of how easy a game is at the moment.

If down to Bolton is in with a shout of playoffs and up to Charlton at risk of falling into the relegation places, it only leaves 4 teams 'on the beach'

I have Evatt and his team are still giving it a go but i think we will be just short. Covid and injuries hit us hard before Christmas.
Enjoy this season and go for it next season.......Dont think we need more than 4/5 better than the players we release and we will be there or there abouts

I think this season is a bit of a free hit for us.

Our embargo is done so we can pay a fee again if we don't go up.

A couple of assets to fund us so not too worried but given how weak the Championship seems at the minute I'd love to go up and have a go

That Embargo is more punishing than anyone thinks.....yes you can get decentish out of contract players each summer but the better players are sold in the previous window for a lot less than the market value.
We exploited this with the signings of Charles,Morley,Sadlier and Dempsey for around £750k
If we had waited for the summer we could have signed these for free but i doubt we would of got all four.

Decentish , good word then you ruin it with of instead of have, can't believe you have no interest in how many points we get before May, I do and everyone on this forum cares about how many points their team gets apart from you,

Maybe i can see the bigger picture....yes of course i want us to win every game etc, but i am happy with the way the club is going. They say you sometimes have to take a step back before two forward. I am saying l dont mind if we stay still a season before taking two forward.
