Bottom club v the team currently on a trajectory that indicates that a collision is imminent.
Just the best time for the Shrews to play us to get themselves out of a rut.
That, coupled with the fact that Mr T Kettle is in the middle and it's reported that you will have a new boss by Saturday it only points to one result....and I can't see it being a positive for us!

Let's see...

Easy three points for the Cobblers as things stand. However, there is the expectation of a new gaffer being in place by Saturday which could see something akin to a dead cat bounce from Salop.

Local game for me this one. I know Shrewsbury are bottom but I'm fully expecting a defeat. We are very leaky at the back and Page has lost the plot. The team selection midweek against Posh was mind boggling. I don't particularly rate Kenji Gorre but I would throw him back in the side as his pace at least gives us some kind of threat, and we can't play both Richards and Revell, it's one or the other for me. Predicting a 2-1 loss.

Never any doubt that was going to be an away win. You're in trouble when you look like conceding from any kind of cross or set piece into your box and don't create anything of note at the other end. Thanks Mr Kettle for giving us 2 penalties to give us a chance to score, although both were fouls.

New manager needs to be a miracle worker to install some confidence and ability into this rag tag bunch.

That was probably one of the easiest wins we will have all season. Both Shrewsbury goals were definite penalties though. We could of won by more but can't complain really. Good performances today from JJ Hooper and Sam Hoskins. Shrewsbury do look in trouble though, there new manager has got some serious work to do.

Easy three points for the Cobblers.

As I was saying a few days ago.

Town are currently a laughing stock of a club from top to bottom.
