Hopefully Crawley don't get too scared to play us and engineer another dodgy postponement like last time. They will learn that there is no escape from the Pompey Steamroller that crushes all before it

Crawley are in the middle of a tough run of fixtures but have been reasonably solid throughout. We sway around wildly between Very Good and Truly Abysmal.

My prediction - 3-0 to Crawley or 0-3 to Pompey (who the f*ck knows?)

What's it worth?

Should be a good game. We've gone from solid at home and shite away to the reverse although the last against Doncaster slightly bucked that trend. The last of 3 toughies at home the others being LD so natural progression says a repeat of our first ever trip TO Pompey - 2-1 to us and actually a big crowd - although most will probably be Pompey fans. (SSShhh)

Center back is actually the one position where we have no problems/debate over who should play. Burgess and Clarke are responsible for us conceeding such few shot attempts.

As for the game, you just don't know what to expect. Every time we go on a good run we cock it up and every time we go 2 without a win we seem to get one.

We are so inconsistent. Got to say I think for once our away numbers made the difference in spurring on the team for the win.

The main reason we struggle so much is we have no goalscorer. Doyle's come in and just doesn't look sharp in front of goal. We are always relying on our midfield to chip in with the goals or hope Chaplin can come up with something if he gets any minutes.

Still plenty of games to go, alot of teams in the top 7 or 8 still have to play each other so this promotion race is just getting started.

Right, so the decision has been made - for all home games between now and the end of the season a maximum of 1,000 Pompey fans will be allowed into Fratton. They will be sat in one corner of the Milton End. Away fans are unrestricted and free to sit anywhere they like in the other parts of the ground.

The team will be taken to a remote location the Thursday before a home game (somewhere in the midlands probably) and bussed down on the Friday evening to a local hotel.

We may also decide to flood our own changing rooms or turn off the hot water. This is still to be decided.
