I thought I could start a thread focused on those teams who were promoted/relegated from League Two at the end of last season. I would be a good place for the fans who were part of our little football family... and also Eric Read, to drop in and banter from time to time, let us know how they're settling in their new home, yada-yada... I just thought it would be good to have a thread each season specifically for those fans if they want to remain a little part of this forum too.
Northampton have three draws so far, and are doing best of the promoted four at 15th in the table. An unbeaten start isn't all too bad considering that two of those were away from home.
Bristol Rovers are level on points with Northampton but down in seventeenth due to a negative goal difference, losing twice and winning one. The two teams who defeated them are among the favourites while their win was against fellow promotees, Oxford.
Oxford haven't started quite so well, with just a single point on the opening day of the season and two defeats since, including that one to Rovers, they sit in 21st
Poor Wimbledon sit bottom with no points, however they do appear to have had a tough start against fancied teams.
Dagenham are doing pretty well down in the National, with 9 points from 4 games and sit in 4th place, level with 2nd on points. The have three good wins and also something of a surprise 3-0 defeat against Chester on their record.
York sit mid-table in 15th with 5 points though their record doesn't make for comfortable reading for them with just one win, a couple of draws and a sorry 6-1 defeat at Gateshead.
