Tickets going quick for a Trevor Kettle refereeing clinic at Sixfields Stadium this Saturday at 3pm, get them quick.

Fancy us to win this one and drag ourselves nearer to the playoffs. Have been playing well recently especially at home, so hopefully will have too much for the Mariners. 3-0.

Yep, we tend do better against the decent teams and not perform against the lower/midtable sides so can see that 3-0 being accurate.

On the plus side, we'll have Embleton back in the side so might create a bit more than we did on Saturday. We haven't been good at all on the road. We were a tad unlucky to be beaten 2-0 at Crewe, but other than that we can't really grumble about the lack points away from home. You've got to go back to the first half at MKD to find a genuinely decent performance and that was August 21st.

Should be a decent away following on Saturday as the feel good factor is slowly coming back with our fans. I can see us getting thumped or winning a battling display of back-to-the-walls heroics. Meeting my son at the station, he's coming up from London, hope we part later in good moods!

Well that’s us done already then, 0 points gained from losing positions this season.

Northampton have been the better side save for a 5 minute spell from us that saw us equalise and then nearly go ahead. Over the half we're very lucky to be level, Northampton should've had a penalty and McKeown made a save that was nothing short of world class just before the half time whistle. I'll definitely take a point from here.

I’m not sure about the penalty shout, he definitely got some ball. That’s a magnificent save too.

Great free kick to put Northampton ahead after we've been the better team for the entire second half. Getting all too typical.

Back in it and fully deserved. Ahkeem Rose making an instant impact to win a free kick and Cardwell gets his first goal for us from it. Dare say we can go on to win it but I will happily take a point.

Phew, after our awful recent away results I’ll gladly take that, even with Ahkeem missing a sitter just before Collins red card.
Very happy. :)

Think both teams can be happy with a point over 90 minutes. We played very well after switching Embleton to a more central role. The red card for Collins is annoying and made things a bit more tense at the end but we coped well and still had the intention to attack until the end. Overall that was a pleasing away performance despite the poor first half. First point for us from a losing position is an important one.

Well that was a boring 2-2. Think Grimsby will be happier with a point than we will, should have killed them off first half.

Ref was quiet until the red card honestly. Didn't give many bookings that I thought he should've done. Also very surprised he didn't give the penalty shout. I know people seeing it back think it wasn't one but in real time it looked stonewall, even in slow motion it's a tough call.

I don't think he likes us, but overall the did OK. I really enjoyed the game. Two completely different styles of play. Northampton are full of big, strong lads who try to bully you; like the ball in the air a lot too. We couldn't cope with their robust tactics for 20 minutes and I thought we were in for a thrashing, but we slowly came into the game and our football on the ground at times was lovely to watch. 2-2 fair in the end I suppose, would loved to have stolen all three points though.

I'm actually quite pleased in a way. As good as Collins is at times, he's made several big mistakes this season. I think we'll see Davis and Whitmore in on Tuesday, but I'd happily see any pairing from those two and Famewo (if he's fit).

I make that our first goals, let alone point, from losing positions in the league too. Glad to get that monkey off our backs and show some grit.

Pringle looked like he had a very good game going off the extended highlights too.
