So that Dirk and myself have a place to air our thoughts for all to see.

We're better (France are better than Germany that is not Dirk and me, I wouldn't dare make such an assumption).

Actually? Yes, no doubt about it.
Overall? No!

Can't be arsed to look at the French record in tournaments but I doubt your lot comes anyway near that:

4 World Cup Titles
4 Second place finishes
4 Third place finishes
1 Fourth place finish

That's 13 times reaching the Final Four in 19 World Cup Appearances. So in more than 2/3 of our World Cups we reach the last four (tbf in 2018 we were overall 22nd )

You could not even match our 3 Euro Wins.

I don't deny that we always have difficulties when we play against the French, some epic battles like in 1982 come to my mind. And in friendlies we shouldn't play against your lot either because we normally lose these.

France is actually miles ahead of us. I've predicted them as World Cup Winners months before the World Cup began, although they had some funny matches like the 0-0 against Luxembourg in the Qualifiers but I saw the quality of this team often enough, especially against us in friendlies.

So, again. Yes, you're actually better but "Wir kommen wieder - Keine Frage! "
