No over reaction. On current form we are the worst team in the league. We haven't been scoring (0 goals in 6), we create absolutely fuck all and we concede a shit load of goals. That "performance" on Saturday at Mansfield was up there with Accrington away 2 years ago which i thought would never be matched again. In fact we were more of an attacking threat on that shambolic Easter Monday than we were at Mansfield on Saturday.

But be prepared to collapse in shock... I think we'll win this. Scrappy, probably undeserved, we'll probably be completely outplayed. Crewe are in excellent form so everything should point to an away win, but I just have one of those feelings that we'll sneak a win. The performance will still be shit and Crewe will have to majorly fuck up to lose. But yeah 3 points for us.

Carlisle 1-0 Crewe

Wouldn't say we're in excellent form, we're slightly bipolar and prone to a complete collapse. 4-0 either way wouldn't be a surprise.

Sounds like a good chance for another win though. Need to start putting teams away early though, a serious trend forming of dominating first halves, not capitalising and then struggling (or getting smashed) in the second half.

3 wins from your last 4 games, 3 clean sheets. Ok maybe 4 wins would be excellent, so very good form then.

Crewe should've smashed us on Boxing Day, poor finishing and some great saves kept us in it.

That was under Davis when they were pretty shit, while we had only lost one all season. I'm expecting another terrible performance and probably another loss. I really can't see where the next goal will come from, even our set prices have been poor recently. Lose and we're probably out of the playoffs for good, a win might delay it or instill some confidence.

0-2 Cooper x2

Good away following expected from us thanks to the cheap train tickets from Crewe to Carlisle. Don't know how many we've sold but my four tickets arrived in the post this morning!

Had this game been under Davis there wasn't a chance in hell I'd have travelled from the South West for this, but Artell has given this side so much hope that I can't wait for Saturday. For the first time in a very very very long time, I'm actually confident we'll win on Saturday. (Of course this means we're now getting beat!)

Think it'll be an unchanged line-up once again and we'll look to kill Carlisle from the off, I reckon we'll give Carlisle a goal cos Shaun Miller will be playing but I reckon we'll win this 2-1 with goals from Cooke and Dagnall!

Being the worst team in the football league it's hardly surprising that all opposition fans come up here expecting nothing less than 3 points.

Didn't they get thrashed off Hartlepool recently?

This is actually good that we're doing so shit because now it puts big pressure from the fans on our owners to get on with selling the club and the way things are going it doesn't look like our manager or any imaginary billionaire's are going to bail them out this time!

Maybe we should blame our manager for this because if he had not come along and done such a great job of turning us around then maybe we would have sold the club by now to someone who can invest and knows how to run a club properly or at least do a better job of it.

So a 5-0 defeat to Crewe on Saturday might not look so bad especially if a riot was to follow.

A month ago, but since then they've beaten Portsmouth, Crawley & Colchester without conceding.

So you're probably wondering why I think we'll win this game. It is a crazy prediction. The form guide says we have no chance, but like I say I just have this strange feeling we'll pull off a shock victory.

Is that because for the first time this season the opposition fans actually see us as a shit team and are not going on about how good we are because of our first half of season?

Looking forward to this, I like Carlisle as a place and its nice to be planning an Alex away trip where we have a 50/50 chance of getting a result, Big Dave is bringing back the feel good factor, if we can sort the shite off the pitch out, both Norm and the allegations, then we could see crowds both home and away rise up as I have every confidence in Dave and Kenny to sort the team out for next season. I missed this cheap train ticket offer but £36 ain't to bad. Reckon we may have 500, maybe more, but what ever the following it will be a hell of a lot better than any following we would have taken under Davies!!

Over the last 6 games we certainly are the worst.

Fair enough over the last 15 games we've been the second worst just slightly better than orient.

But why do you always have to come up with crap Carver buddy? I don't think Orient's demise is entertaining in any way shape or form. And this is coming from a U's fan, and we aren't the O's biggest supporters round here. We never forgave them for stealing Billy Beall from us

FWIW, I also think Carlisle will win this one, most probably 2 or 3 -1.

Gutted I'm not going this, missed the deal on the trains so can't really afford it. Carlisle is one of my favourite trips.

I fear we could be on the end of a Carlisle backlash, but under Dave we have some fight, got a feeling we might go 2 down but battle back for a point.

Carlisle 2-2 Crewe (Miller, Joyce, Dagnall, Cooke) 5,422 (490 railwaymen)

We won't score 2 goals. I'm as optimistic as we come about Carlisle's chances in this match but even I know we won't score 2 goals.

What do you expect Vanni? The one thing I've never been accused of is being good, even when I've tried to be! :shifty:

At least you're acknowledging the fact that you're Carver now.

Yes we are ALL Carver, he is EVERYWHERE and if you say you're not him, then he comes and gets you!

So greg, WHO ARE YOU?...

I am Carver. I’m utterly, completely, stone-cold Carver. I was Carver even before I met him.

Good lad!

I'll let you have one of my wife's tonight. ;)

Which one do you want? Vanni or Mowgli?

I think those crowd figures are somewhat optimistic.
Try 4,429 (308).

Last time I'm optimistic about these useless c***. This is the most inept slow paced toothless bunch of "footballers" I've ever had the misfortune of seeing.

Scrap the season, its over, we won't win another game all season.

Unless some serious work is done to this wank squad over the summer, next season is going to be horrendous. This side as it is will get us relegated out of the football league, 100%.

As crazy as it sounds I think this side is worse than that god awful side of 2 seasons ago. At least that team was a threat in the oppositions half.

And people mocked me in January when I suggested that this team wouldn't even make the playoffs.

This is genuinely the worst Carlisle United team I've seen since the one that started the 2013/14 season.
