Not long now till the season starts
We've all seen the predictions and those historical charts.
But come the end of the match who'll be waving their dangly parts?
At all the other so-called knowledgable opposition tarts.
Who can foretell what lies ahead?
Will there be congratulations or commiserations instead?
When the day's earlier action is going through your head
Is it a celebratory drink or early to bed?
Most of us posters will think their teams are in with a shout
However,others will come on here and spit their dummys out!
All the history the cash and the clout
Means diddly-squat on the day -of this i have no doubt.
So up and down the land we go
To see our boys put on a show
We are bound to be put through some too and throws
Alas,supporting our teams that's how it goes!
To my fellow posters from the naughty north to the sexy south
Lets engage the brain before opening the mouth
Nothing gets won in the first half of the year
So wait till the last game before you cry into your beer!!
