This is an uncalled for comment.
Most of us on forum consider you and your team as OPPONENTS, as we do for every other set of supporters and their clubs.
Yes we all want to beat each other, that is the nature of competition, but at end of day we all love football and probably all support ENGLAND.
Kind word of advice: respond to what others say as friendly banter, even if they say it in an unpleasant manner. That way you'll find you will gain support for your opinions. At the moment everybody is dismissing them because of your knee in their groin attitude.
BTW good fortune to Bolton next season.

To be fair inaccurately predicted Bolton’s season would play out as it did, slow start with the losing mentality and turn over following by improvement and promotion similar to Argyle last season (although didn’t expect it to be as extreme as it was).

Well done Bolton but third in a league where your far far bigger than anyone else it’s the bare minimum really.

Be interesting to see how they do in league one, could have Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Wigan and Bolton in there. Some big fallen giants.

Which is what? All I’ve seen him do is shit on this league and it’s clubs saying Bolton are too good to be down here and would walk the league. Which didn’t happen.

Like I said before congrats on promotion to all the decent Bolton fans, clubs had a tough time so must be nice having something to celebrate.

Wigan a giant?, in Rugby league perhaps, definitely not football though

I'd say 3rd. Don't even know who you can even consider for the others. Sunderland being one of those could go up too.

Think there's a recency bias with Wigan. They've done well on the back of DW but aren't very big really.

Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland, Portsmouth, Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town. Only one out 3 of them might go up but all of them are bigger clubs potentially than Bolton Wanderers.
With the right owners MK Dons and Plymouth Argyle could also be bigger. Never considered Wigan Athletic to be anything other than an overachieving plaything of Dave Whelan who didn't do well without his involvement

I’d put Bolton on par with Charlton size wise, with Sunderland, Wednesday, Pompey and (maybe) Ipswich being bigger.

Wigan aren’t really anything.

How people would see Wigan I guess depends when you first started watching football as alluded to above. For me they were still playing at Springfield Park and had a mud slide for an away end and were always bottom half of this league. It’s only really Whelans money that gave them any relevance.

That's what I thought. Sunderland Definitely, Wednesday probably.

Probably angles you can argue in the favour of the others mentioned, but I think we probably just edge them.

From a UEFA Cup Quarter Final to bantering a load of people on a fourth tier forum, who are the real losers here?

I'm pleased for and will congratulate the Bolton supporters who accepted they were here for a reason, while treating everyone and clubs at this level with respect despite their bigger stature and where they've been before their fall.

For those who felt they were beyond this level and above everyone else on here, I'm glad you've fucked off.

Yeah, not a chance that Bolton can be considered a bigger club than Ipswich.

In the predictions, I thought Bolton would just miss out on the play-offs, based on the poor recruiting in the summer, which expected would be remedied in January. I'd didn't expect either such a bad start or such a total transformation, with nearly all of the squad additions in January paying off.

Wouldn't like to predict how they'll fare in L1, though progress up the leagues is likely to require significant further recruitment.

65 years ago, I had the autographs of some Bolton players including Nat Lofthouse. Refs would be carding him every few minutes now.
