So I'm guessing the mainstream media aren't doing enough to convince us that 'populism' is evil they're even setting up "not be a thinktank, but a policy unit and networking space". Even on their deathbed they can't call a spade a spade. A clear indication everything they've worked so hard to create is crumbling around them and thus creating a think-tank to work on policy designed to keep the establishment in power and passing it off as centre politics is a last desperate attempt at clinging onto power.

The rise in popularity of UKIP. The amount of people who voted leave in the referendum based solely on not liking Johnny foreigner. I know there were a lot of people who are not racist, but concerned about the level of immigration who voted leave, but we all know a lot of people voted leave because they are racist. Also, this narrative of denigrating so called political correctness, in favour of banter (a supposed licence to use casual racism, sexism etc).

If you read my post properly you'd have seen that I acknowledge that not everyone who voted leave because they can't get a house or a GP appointment is racist. However their inability to understand that the real problems underpinning these issues are a lack of proper funding of the NHS and successive governments refusals to build a proper and substantial housing scheme is indicative of how people have a knee jerk reaction and blame it all on immigration. Pandering to the politics of fear and divisiveness, as I said.

Leave voters aren't a homogeneous bunch, there are lots of reasons why people voted leave. I've got friends for whom immigration played no part in their decision to vote leave. You did give your opinion that people voted leave because they think the NHS being put under stress and a lack of social housing is all about immigration and I'll give my opinion that these simpleton fucking cretins shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a ballot box because they lack the intellectual capacity to look deeper into our social ills and are happy to just swallow the populism bullshit spoon fed to them by the likes of The Fail and The Scum. This immigration is to blame bullshit is the narrative of populist politicians and they thrive on thick c*** who are seemingly incapable of examining the situation beyond blaming the 'immagrunts'.

I'd imagine they live anywhere and everywhere. The vox pops I saw on TV showed people saying their biggest concern the strain caused by immigration. That in itself doesn't make them racist, but it doesn't take a massive leap of the imagination to believe that off camera some of them were racist. I think I've already explained that I don't think every leave voter was a racist. All racists were leave voters though.

I voted out because it would be good for my business and jokes aside we have had our best 2 months ever since.
