Our injury list is horrendous currently. I recon this is a point for us. Can't see us winning mixing, reeves, lewis, hippolyte, Maynard. No creativity in midfield at all.

We’ve potentially got 7/8 maybe 9 out injured so Tuesday will be difficult. I’d go for:

Thompson
? Williams Grimes/Araujo Gordon

Jones. Oldaker
Dobra. Mandeville. Colclough

Grigg

What’s happened to Daley-Campbell, is he injured? If Mandy has to play RB I’d put Banks in CAM but I can’t see Jones playing whole game so he’d have to move to DM at some point. Who’s be a manager eh :D

Tough game at Walsall. Will Maynard have the guile, the nous, the tactical wisdom, the bollocks to go and win a game against a top team despite being the only club in league 2 to have injuries?

Willie fuck, comfortable home win.

Sat at home watching everyone else play is nice. Hoping for an Andy Cook booking against Barrow, would take him out of the game next Saturday.

Makes no difference if Cook plays or not. We still won't score against you. Defenders know that all they have to do is concentrate on Cook and no one else will score. Having said that, Cook did miss an easy chance yesterday.

We are looking very very thin on the ground now aren't we. Can we even fill the bench?? I think if this season had a bit more tension for us we'd all be stressing out.

Typically Cheltenham have picked up a bit of late. We never seem to catch teams at their lowest ebb.

We've not been great the last 2 or 3 games. The combination of tough opposition and missing 2 or 3 of our key players. Also, only 3 games in November feels a bit stop/start. Garrity is so important to us that you realise it more when he isn't playing.

We could do with a win really going into tough games against Walsall and Bromley. We don't seem to do that well at Cheltenham. It's one of those tight grounds that we historically struggle at. They always seem to be bang up for it against us.

Surprised to see them struggling a bit but they seem to have turned a bit of a corner. I suspect, as usual, we'll try and keep it tight and then nick one and hold it.

Hopefully Byers might be near and maybe Kyle John, which might add a bit of renewed energy into us.

Tough game indeed only one manager so far has had the guile, the nous, the tactical wisdom to win at Walsall in the league.

Away win almost 3/1 which sadly seems about right even though our record on the road is good.

Yep we look fucked availability wise. I make it:

Daley - Campbell - RB
Tanton - RB
Dunkley - CB
Palmer - CB
Araujo? - CB
Naylor - CM
Metcalfe - CM
Fleck - CM
Madden - CF

Going to be tough until Christmas.

Can see us getting tonked on Tuesday.

Rovers v Shrimps, an opponent who are in decent form after a poor start and feature a trio of Rovers old boys, although only Ben Tollitt is a regular starter.

The defeat to Wimbledon was characterised by poor finishing and switching off defensively at key moments, However, we did create more chances than of late and for that reason alone, I'd stick to the same starting xi and see if they can get in right this time. But I'm not confident...

Away to Fleetwood, could have done without the extra time today but at least the pitch will be better. I’m sure we will have to put up with Captain Pugwash as usual though

I'm not so sure mate we've been below par in our last 2 games at home if we don't improve on them Tuesday you'll beat us.

Home to league leaders Port Vale.

We'll probably lose, especially if we play as badly as we did on Saturday.

If we win, no doubt it'll be because of a useless referee or something.

I hear you don't like playing big physical teams that play a direct style....... you'll be fine.

Our physicality in midfield is currently injured, again. Would love to see McGoldrick and Jatta start, give them enough service and they cause issues.

Cheltenham away, bit of a bogey team for us last season, all be it the start of the obvious decline was made evident in the first meeting, so owe them one here I would say!

Potentially massive boost for us with talk that George Byers, Kyle John and Mitch Clark came through a behind closed doors friendly last week so may see the key trio back from long term injury in time for this, although would think Walsall is more likely but getting Byers back would be absolutely massive for us, arguably the best player in the division and we have done very well without him but takes us to better level when he is playing, with Garrity out and Harper suspended midfield looks light again so even if we can get 30 minutes into him that would be a boost.

Stockley may be rested as rarely plays 2 games a week and is on 4 yellows but I would play him here and make sure we get the points here before worrying about the next game or the one after. We rested Arblaster against these last season and it bit us on the backside so need to focus one game at a time and deal with what happens.

Away from home we've been very good, best in the league on the road thus far so hopefully we can grind out another Darren Moore 1-0 away win.

Looking at it a draw wouldn't be the end of the world though, Crewe have dropped points this round of fixtures, Walsall play Notts County so at least one, if not both will lose points so would be acceptable to keep us top of the league going into the game at the weekend.

Our home form can't possibly get any worse could it? Stanley will hope it can. Our midfield injury crisis appears to be over, so who Artell picks will be interesting.

Making the trip to MK tomorrow for this one. At this rate I'll be watching our youth team. I do fear we may get a pasting.

Yep definitely a good time for Newport to play us. I don't usually back against us but I've had a tenner on a Newport win at 8/1.

Same here with work shit getting in the way otherwise I would have made the trip from Leeds.

We’re definitely not pulling up any trees right now so this looks like a tricky fixture. 2-0 to the Dongles.
