In normal circumstances, with a healthy squad and this game being on a Saturday, I'd like to think the Alex could make short work of Sutton. But given their recent minor improvements and our threadbare squad(could well be without CBR for this one), not to mention our historic issues with getting results in long Tuesday trips down south, I'd actually take a point from this game.

Going to be an ugly, grind of a game against a big physical opponent I think. Any sort of result will do me. A win would be fantastic though.

Walsall at home and Evens looks a great price (so far). Walsall fans TV last night were expecting nothing from their next 2 matches, let's hope they are correct. We'll be without Robbie Gotts under concussion protocols, but as we could go 2nd with a win and helpful other results we'll be up for this one. Walsall have drawn 2 and lost 10 of their last 12 Tuesday away games....

Always struggle against the sides near the bottom. Hopefully that changes on Tuesday night. 3-1 City.

Interested to see how we react to our first loss of the season, you’d think Tranmere at home would be a favourable fixture to bounce back with a win. Akins and Quinn in for Bowery and Lewis for me.

Crawley at home again in the cold eurrrrgh. Most matches I relish coming down for.

This isn’t one of them.

Fully expect Walsall to play for the point, and couldn’t blame them if they do. Feels like we’ve started to hit our stride and the difference this season, I think, is that we’ve got squad depth.

Baldwin will be a welcome return, hopefully Macari will get the nod to tweak the defence.
Hoping for the win but we're pretty mid table on the form book at the moment.

Our record away this season is dire, our record at Mansfield is grim at the best of times and Connor Jennings has just picked up his 5th league yellow card so won’t be available. No surprises expected.

I dont finish work until 6pm. No chance of making it.

The fa cup game result will probably be replicated.

I'm no betting man but anybody who is might want to look at Salford.

Bailey can't play against his parent club, and Collar might've done his hamstring, so we've a massively weakened midfield.

Looking at the fixtures a treble on Mansfield, Notts and MK looks nailed on right?

There good sides all with talented managers , all at home.

Odds won't be great but that's my midweek bet.

Gillingham away. We've got a pretty good record against them and we've got our scoring boots on. Ali Al-Hamadi is finally scoring goals after numerous assists without scoring earlier on this season. We should win but who knows with Wimbledon? I can't be there due to working on the retail coalface. COYD.

The only nailed on bet in this division is Barrow at home on a Tuesday.

Completely agree. Many will look at the table and think bottom of the league vs promotion contender and think comfortable away win. But as you say, long midweek trips we always find difficult, plus the fact we've currently got a threadbare squad and those players that are "fit" are starting to look a little tired. Sutton seemed to have picked up a little over the last few weeks aswell so I'm sure they will give it a good go on home turf. I think we've got enough about us though this season to come away with atleast a point if not win it, but I'm not expecting it to be pretty, might have to defend our box quite abit and maybe win it with a set piece.

With the injuries the teams picks itself, although I will go with Nevitt over CBR to start as CBR looked like he was struggling for most of the game yesterday.

They are flying under the radar at the moment, or so I hear.
Under the radar with their manager Phil Wild celebrating like he's won the Champions League after each game.

They'll have to improve drastically compared with when they played us on Saturday to have any hope of beating you. They scored 2 goals, yes, but one was a fuck up by our players and the second was the softest penalty you will see in ages.

I suppose at 6-1 I might chuck a fiver on them but I recon it's a wasted bet.

Gillingham away. I think we're more than capable of coming away with something from this game. I'd always take a point away from home. We should have more or less a fully fit squad to choose from. Bugiel and Biler will be back from suspension after missing the Notts game on Saturday. Al Hamadi and Bugiel are a good front 2 and will cause any team in this league problems.

The FA Cup tie against these a couple of weeks ago was hilariously wide open, probably be the same. Our form is wildly inconsistent, but generally fancy us to just outscore teams at home who aren’t challenging right at the top.

Artell straight into the job it seems. Fair play to him, reckon he could have swerved MK Dons away the day after being appointed if he wanted to. Let's hope we get some that delicious new manager bounce.

Accrington away on a Tuesday evening isn’t usually the harbinger of 3 points for us. Good performance v Stags Saturday may have papered over a few cracks so I’m not convinced we’ll come away with anything. Tbh, I’m happy performances have improved but we’re still too easy to score against.

I thought that too, although the litter pickers do always manage to get something against us, normally in the last minutes and normally a scrappy finish off someone's arse. Also, normally an ex-Gill scoring. About time we got revenge on them with a Cheye Alexander thunderbastard from half a yard out.

We're much better at home than away generally speaking, but when it comes to the Dons it just doesn't matter in the slightest. 2-1 defeat.

Not getting carried away but hopefully Saturday was a turning point. A win tomorrow and a draw between Gillingham and Wimbledon and we will be 7th at 10pm. That won’t be too bad after a 7/8 game winless run.

Looks like we may have one of our injury hit squad back but I'd stick with the same starting 11 from Saturday. Attendance at Number 87 of 92 for me tomorrow. Just Middlesbrough, Fleetwood, Derby & Cardiff to go

That only adds up to 91.
