Another International weekend, another complete absence of League Two games on TV. Pretty sure it was the same last time. Is Sky pretending we don't exist, and will we see a rash of games towards the end of the season when they realise they need to fill their quota?

They may as well hand us over to BT who seem to show plenty of National League games.

Gripe over.

Good, fewer TV games the better.

At least Sky still have Soccer Saturday when there's only League 1 & 2 games on and channel 5 will show the goals unlike The BBC who didn't as they treat lower leagues fans with contempt.

If you want contempt you should have listened to Jim White doing the FA Cup draw this morning.

You say this, but I think part of the reason why clubs down here are struggling to get the fans in is that so much of the media acts as if nothing below the Championship exists, such as the BBC giving the average punter the impression that no domestic football is played at all during international weekend. Clubs themselves have a duty to raise their own profile but I the media are a factor in many football fans who support big Prem teams from distance cities being only vaguely aware of a league team playing in their own home city.

Just made a quick, pedantic count of upcoming TV games:
PL: 27 games
Champ: 17 games
L1: 7 games
L2: 0 games
So I suppose we should be happy with zero games as the pattern above predicts -3 games.
Oh, and non-league: 5 games

Personally, I quite like occasionally seeing a big top of the table clash, regardless of which division it's in.

Personally, I'm more pissed that I'm struggling to find an interesting double header option to complement our trip to Blackpool this weekend. TV usually messes up fixtures enough to provide something.

£65 to sit in the Gods to watch the RL Grand Final at Old Trafford doesn't attract and it's a bit far to catch Queen of the South v Linfield in the Scottish Cup.

I guess England U21s with a 3 p.m. kick off on Tuesday at Walsall becomes an option to finish the weekend with a bang.

Hardly, Have they not changed the format so they can talk about each Championship game over an hour and now all is shown of L1/L2 is the goals? It was awful that they didn't do a show when the Championship didn't play but I thought the BBC shat all over Channel 5s effort.

Bring back The Championship on ITV!

I noticed Sky quietly dropped FL72 from their programming while Goal Rush on Channel 5 gives you nothing you can't get on Youtube, the level of discussion of lower league football, which used to be fairly common on things like Soccer Saturday and Soccer AM has now dwindled to a couple of digs at Jeff Stelling over Hartlepool each week, Helen Chamberlain seems to have been banned from mentioning Torquay United.

While I think there is enough interest in the bottom two divisions to support an hour a week of proper discussion from people who understand the competition rather than people whose analysis is just 'look at the form table, comment that the team at the top are doing well and the team at the bottom are in trouble'; consumerism doesn't work like that. If there are 80 people want chocolate ice-cream and 20 people want strawberry, what you'll get is 9 ice-cream vans selling nothing but chocolate and one selling chocolate but with a tub of strawberry in the back in case anyone wants some.

There's too much fill on sky sports 13 main sports channels , same old people saying the same old thing .... then people ape them on message boards ...my personal pet hate is 'the first 20 mins are important ' .....so are the next 70 ! ....I see people just re use worn out phrases on boards .....tell it how you see it ....Mr HG has grasped it !
