First of three huge games for us with Accrington at home preceding Morecambe and Mansfield away.

Accrington's record at Gresty Road makes for grim reading - P4 W0 D1 L3 F1 A8 (The 1 goal coming in a 5-1 defeat against us in 2010)

Their recent form as well has seen them lose 7 of their last 9, drawing the other 2 and only scoring 2 league goals in the process.

This has all the ingredients of a 1-0 Accrington win. Our players have done the home fans a disservice this season by only raising their game for home games against bigger opposition. They'll put in a performance riddled with lethargy and we'll gift Accrington a shock lead which they will hold for the remainder of the game because we can't hit a barn door. Accrington have always been a hard working side who have struggled to hit the target whenever they've come to Gresty Road, our kids just breed arrogance whenever they come up against perceived lesser opposition which makes them ripe for the taking.

He won't be, but if Davis loses this game he should be absolutely sacked no doubt about it. No disrespect to Accrington, but if you can't beat a badly out of form side like them at home, then you need to start questioning where our next win is coming from and whether we deserve to remain in the Football League.

A grim 2016 where we've only picked up 8 league wins and been in the newspapers for off-field issues will gladly be brought to a close at 5pm. No doubt if we draw 0-0 Graham McGarry will be telling us all what a marvellous performance Sir Steve has achieved turning 3 straight defeats into 2 straight draws.

Roll on 2017 and a mass clearout of unwanted personnel at the club (lol never gonna happen).

Shut the club down and start AFC Crewe. Crewe Alexandra FC is a sinking ship that's rotten to the core, so depressing. I've had countless free tickets this season and still can't be bothered to go, no excitement at Gresty Rd anymore, the dizzy heights of the championship, playing great football in a packed out stadium, full of colour and atmosphere seems like a lifetime ago, and I can't see us getting even a fraction of that back again anytime soon.

Does he really believe he can turn this round? I don't think he's had an actual idea since sometime in early 2013 so I'm not sure what he thinks he can do to arrest this slide.

We didn't play well at all today we just needed a win at all costs - bit of a scabby goal too. You could tell it was two out of form sides but it is the first time I've ever seen us score at Gresty Road.
I was looking forward to going in that chippy beforehand - has it shut down?

Honestly do not know what he's thinking. Past comments from Davis, plus spiel from Bowler and loyalists like Morse and McGarry, everyone at the club including Davis himself believes he's doing an ok job. Notice how Morse and McGarry only ever mention "poor form", never actually acknowledge a continual decline for the last 3 1/2 years. That's the mentality and why with one draw some are delirious. To them, fans who want him out are trouble makers and unrealistic - how many times has Davis made subtle digs about "real fans" backing him?

The situation reeks and it's looking terminal. This attitude won't stop in non-league either. We'll be mid table in be conference being told we "need to cut out mistakes" and "hopefully we can put a run together" -- "at least we're not Stockport".

Morecambe was the one game I was looking forward too, having lived in the area for several years and knowing a couple of people at the club. But fuck it, I can't justify or be arsed with the time and money it'll take to be bored and pissed off. Going to do some diy instead and spend the day at the tip - still see less crap than will be on show at Morecambe.

My fucking god, you're an oracle! Teach me your ways!! (Or is it the fact we are so predictable?)
