Or simply Bury vs Gillingham

Both clubs played on Tuesday with Bury scraping past Coventry and Gills going down 3-1 at Swindon.

The two clubs are separated by a single point, so the game is hard to call. We haven't beaten Gillingham in the last few seasons so perhaps it's our time for the 3 points.

Always wary of the threat Gillingham pose as they have always seemed like a pacey outfit. Is Bradley Dack still pulling the strings?

As for us, captain and centre back Kay is suspended for another game so misses out. God knows the situation on injuries as the club doesn't disclose that information.

Close game, I'm going for a 0-0.

Dack's been injured for the last two and I haven't heard anything either way about this one. I honestly have no idea which line up or formation we'll be playing in this, although I suspect it may well be 3 at the back again as we don't have a senior left back. Midfield 4 (or 5) could be more or less plucked out of a hat, with only Josh Wright a certainty to play - the other 3/4 positions could be any of Osadebe, Hessenthaler, Muldoon, Wagstaff, Martin and Byrne. Up front we have fewer options, but Parker, Quigley and McDonald all played at Swindon so could be that again.

We're definitely not pacey anymore by the way, Edinburgh destroyed all that!

All this recent optimism by me has got me worried, it's a most un-Shagger like tendency, and it has got me wondering if I really am a Bury fan!
Just a matter of time until this good run ends I keep telling myself, but not this week I feel and I'm going to go for another 2-1 win.
I've called the last three results, two with the correct score too,so I'm claiming that as my contribution to our upturn!
Up the Shakers!

You should certainly feel confident going in to this one. It was all one way traffic at Swindon on Tuesday but our keeper Nelson kept us in it until the floodgates inevitably opened.
I think our fans have become more relaxed as we now assume we will be relegated.
On the other hand, it was not so long ago that we achieved 2-2 draws at Sheffield and Bradford, Unfortunately, either side of that spell we have deservedly lost at Oldham, Coventry and Swindon.
We hope we may have one or two of our injured players back, even possibly Dack, so could keep the score respectable.
One thing it will not be will be 0-0, UTS, as we have only kept two clean sheets this season, both at home, so I will go with 2-0 to the Shakers.

I am not normally a pessimistic sort of bloke but having watched the utter shite we have served up for the last year or so it is hard not to be.
The players seem devoid of confidence, the coaching team seem bereft of ideas and all in all we are a total shambles.
Comfortable home win I'm afraid.
Still it is build your own burger game next week at Priestfield. Can't fucking wait!

Home banker, just attack us. We don't have a defence.

I can't believe I've read in a post that a team admits to losing to us,it's given me a mini boost, I had totally forgot we've actually beaten five teams this season. Hold your heads in shame those teams.
I think the Gills may be joining our shower of shit next season in league number two if they don't pull their socks up very soon

Absolutely dross game played by 2 poor teams. The referee was abysmal. Missed a stonewall penalty and lots of bad tackles. A bit like a few of our players. Taylor-Moore very poor.Caddis (overweight) Leigh (couldn't cross a road). Best player was Vaughan and Dack for them.

He's fine. Wasn't at the game but the reports I read are of us been toothless up top and gifting away two goals. The stats seem to suggest this.
Confused with Bur's assessment of Caddis ... he looked very impressive at Charlton last week.

Caddis is not fit, granted he's not played in a while. Very overweight and slow. Gave the. All away far to much. I didn't say Taylor Moore was no good, but he certainly not great either. Yesterday he was awful. Out of position constantly. Can't remember anything he did that was good.
