This is such a non-event for both of us that I've got a refund on my ticket and am becoming a fully paid up member of the 2CW glory hunter plastic fan club for the day. I wouldn't have done it if it was last day of the season but Trawler Boys v Bluebirds at Lowestoft was too tempting an opportunity to miss. I had a season ticket at Holker Street briefly in the 60s and it looks like there'll be a cracking party whatever the result.

On the subject of our L2 fixture, I still think we'll take more than 200 and I expect there'll be a few goals. Our defence/midfield is soft through the middle and wide open on the flanks when the team and manager aren't up for it so revenge for October's 5-1 is quite possible. I'd go for a 3-1 home win.

Nah we'll stuff them, 2-0. Now we're safe, you'll see free flowing attacking football with no nerves. I'd like Slew, BJ Taylor, Norris and Morrissey to start as a minimum. We're safe so lets get a look at some of these players now.

I'm not going either as I'm on holiday for a week (I'm missing the Burton game too and I was mighty relieved when we secured safety against Mansfield as that would have been a nightmare) but I do know people going. I imagine we'll take 500 or so, we should be in reasonably good spirits.

Now Donaldson is out injured I suspect we'll win our last two games......

Not particularly bothered about the result, the performance, or anything else associated with the game, just looking forward to a good end of season piss up in a lovely city.
