Too what is what I want to know. P.S. Both us and Villa act like utter plonkers who are too good for this division and we have no idea what we're doing here.

Sometime last week, I dreamt that a giraffe head-butted me off the edge of a flat Earth.
I fell into the abyss for a moment; only to land on a small flying saucer, flown by none other than E.T and one of the Biker Mice from Mars.

E.T seemed overly excited and kept trying to grab my ass, but I told him (firmly).....NO! I'm not having that, ET...It's not on. Take me home, now!

So they did.

What do you reckon that means mate? I can't stop thinking about it. It's got me a bit worried.

Villa fans were the louder of the two at Asthon Gate, though they went silent as soon as we equalised.

Newcastle looked decent though there wasn't much between us and they took the win.
Villa looked very good for 50 minutes and were shit after that.

Do either have a chance of going up first attempt ? dont like either club tbh but feel for the Villa fans having read up over the summer what they have been through.

What hardships have they been through?

Not consistently winning trophies since the late 1800’s?

"After what they've been through"
So how have they been through worse than Newcastle or Sunderland or ANY club who gets relegated ?
This bunch celebrated like mental retards when Newcastle went down in 2009 (as did Everton fans at WBA the same day according to a bemused reporter on Talk Sport - why ?)
They whine a lot, Villa fans. And like Everton fans see everybody's faults, multiply them several times over - and never see their own.
Old biblical thing about "Seeing the mote in thy neighbours eye while ignoring the two by four in your own" thing applies with Villa and Everton fans

what about the time when your lot had to be locked in St. Andrews for your own safety after taking the piss out of the blues when you sent them down? That's what I heard anyway. What about booing Martin Lauren when he was giving his farewell speech? Don't make out your any different to any other fans because your not. I find Everton fans to be very level headed tbf.

Don't see anything special about both of us being in this league. Yes both big clubs but there are other big clubs that have been down here for years.

"Thats what I heard anyways" Usual translation for that is "I haven't a clue and it's heresay" How about "A mate told me all Villa fans came dressed as women to the match at St James 5 years ago. I swear it's true !" ? Ive heard some whoppers over the years. Chinese whispers, but far worse. (Oh and the Villa fans in drag isn't true !)
Similar to gangs of yobs claiming to have had another bunch of yobs running from them when it never happened.
Besides - ALL large away fans were kept in visiting ground to avoid confrontation anyways - and still often are. Usual twisting of facts we've come to expect from Villa fans
Also - taking the piss is one thing - thats to be expected (and was) parading BANNERS and going into frothing at the mouth hysteria is quite another.

The 'hysteria' would be mostly down to your booing of Martin Laursen, bud. One of our club legends, and you lot booing him, we're going to rip the piss out of you and be glad to see you gone with that.

You lot have gotten a hell of a lot more bitter since you weren't allowed the last laugh last season though, as in our worst season EVER (genuinely, we've never got less points in a season, even during 2 points for a win seasons), we STILL managed a 0-0 draw to drag you down with us. And yes, we took the piss again, as the vitriol from your club towards ours is, frankly, hilarious.

Face it, Newcastle are a pathetic club. Yeah, you've got loads of fans. In a one club city, when the next nearest league side is Sunderland, in a city 16 miles away. For all of your fans, what have you won? Fuck all. You go on about your home attendances being so large, well so they fucking should be. You go on about them, and teams like us have 5 other professional teams within a 20 mile radius of the ground. That rings true for many clubs.

Newcastle - An average club with a small club mentality. Trying to pretend you have a rivalry with a club 200 miles away. You, and the rest of the fans of your club seriously need to get over it. You'd think 5000 Villa fans had mobbed and lynched the kids who went to that game, not just laughed at yet another pathetic performance from a so called 'big' club.

This is why the media and other fans laugh at your club. I accept people laughing at mine at the moment as we are a pathetic mess. Newcastle have pretty much consistently been a pathetic mess, suppose you lot have to pass the time somehow though, eh? Trying to make a 'rivalry' with an actual big club is one way to pass the time I guess.

fuck me mate you are a bitter bastard. Get over yourself. I couldn't give a fuck about Newcastle and I'm sure we weren't the only fans pissing ourselves when the great Geordie nation went down. So we are famous for twisting the facts? Thank fuck for that, we are famous again. Like I said you are no different or any more special than any set of other fans.
