I hate playing Scunthorpe at home, especially on Tuesday nights, it brings back nothing but horrendous memories.

Can't make it tonight, but I'm expecting a very tough game with Scunthorpe being top. I would be happy to take another point.

Wonder if there will be 3k there with the weather changing and our season already doomed to 'aim for mid table and see if we can string a cup run together' - it's all very meh.

Not surprised to see Mantom struggling, he was never the same player after a long injury and Chambers carried him last year, his only contribution for a lot of the season was to score the odd long ranger. That's not good about Laird, he has been fairly steady so far in all honesty. Hit the inside of the post late on at Posh saturday, should have scored at Northampton too. He was bound to look better than a poor right back.playing at left back though in all fairness.

I'm quite glad Edwards is missing, he's been shit so far. Can't defend for his life, then gets himself sent off when he plays in central midfield.

Surprised about Madden, thought he was the crown jewels.

Mantom always was overrated and then seemed to think he was billy big bollocks when he started to score a few long rangers.

I referred to him as Sideways Sam quite often, the knee injury ruined all of his potential, he just wasn't the same player. He scored a few but that's about it in terms of his contribution to a match.

Mantom doesn't play cause of Alexander's strange love in with Bishop. Bishop is a class player but he's far too similar to Dawson to play both. Mantom has started 1 game and was the best player on the pitch, I'd love to see him start again.

Madden still isn't really fully fit, he's looked poor since his return and has been nowhere near as good as Hopper and Van Veen.

We just got 5 points from 3 games, our keeper was MOTM in all of them.

Say as you wish, but that's NOT a good thing. Whitney will be out of job when we are cut adrift bottom within 6 weeks IMO.

Only positive I can take from that horror show is that the Phantom Mantom did absolutely nothing all match.

I attended this game at Walsall and thought while the Saddlers were very poor, we were very commanding. I am not going to say "good", because we have played better than that. BUT, we dominated from start to finish. In control, apart from 10 minutes before half time. Walsall had their moments, but looked lightweight. We were led by the superb Hopper, as the 4-3-3 worked an absolute treat. This lad is quality for this level. Morris took the honours with 3 excellent strikes, all left footed and all from a central penalty box position. Bishop oozed class throughout and effectively ended the game with a tremendous strike into the corner. Walsall's goal was a good one too, from the pint-sized number 10, who I thought had a decent game, apart from mouthing off at his team mates.

Excellent professional performance and comfortable 3 points. Sets us up nicely for Bury away this weekend.
