Are people still pretending that hounding Mick out was the right thing to do? Glad to see you come down.

Football under Lambert has been great, enjoyable to watch if you can compartmentalise and not be swayed by the results. We just haven't been anywhere close to clinical up front.

Sadly, despite 2 strikers being targeted for January I think the damage under PH has made the deficit insurmountable now.

Always thought McCarthy had you punching above your weight, seems he certainly was. Must be even worse with Norwich heading to the Premier League.

What is the financial/ownership situation at Ipswich?

We're absolutely loving it down here, but only if it lasts one season. Helps that we have new owners, debt free and players who give 100%.

Ipswich are a decent club who I like, and I know exactly how you will all be feeling right now.

ME is worth around 800m. He plugs a shortfall of around £5m a year but transfer budgets have been woefully low in recent years. Rumours of a 10M Jan budget circled but I will believe it when I see it; and I also worry about what player would be willing to take a chance and come here when we look set for L1 football next season.

Not sure how much PH had to do with this but It baffled me that he sold Waghorn to derby so late in the window (despite being linked for weeks beforehand), and the fact Joe Garner was also sold on deadline day, majorly depleting the squad of firepower especially as Mcgoldrick had left that summer on a free.

Waghorn went into PH from day dot saying he didn't want to play here anymore. The reason it took so long was because we wanted way in excess of £5m+addons; but ultimately the clubs bidding knew he wasn't committed anymore and this didn't assist in inflating his final price.

PH completely rebuilt the squad BTW, and the gamble didn't pay off. It has everything to do with him.

Bringing in some of his Shrewsbury players with him and other league 1 players into a championship side has apparently buggered up Ipswich and the result is that they look destined for league 1. No matter how good the football is it doesn't mean anything if there are no goal scorers to put away chances

We'd love to have Donacian and Kayden Jackson back - any chance??

Looking forward to the FA Cup match I'm hearing there's plenty of Tractor Boys coming up.

I hope its not going to be £30+ a ticket.

They charge £25 to away fans now if the club charges their fans the same in the return fixture, some choose not too including us so it was £30 for us.

Good to hear. I remember adult tickets being 30 quid when we played them 10 years ago!

Living up the road in Norwich I would welcome a nice little trip to Ipswich next year.
Half hour on the train and the jobs a good un.
Quite a few Skyblue fans around East Anglia and Lincolnshire so most of them would make the trip too.
