I'm hopeful of winning but I'm not sure it's going to happen. It's just our luck to be playing them when they come into a bit of form, I'm going for 1-1.

What a jammy goal for West Ham - Antoino fell over and the ball hit him on the head from a defensive clearance!

Good build up and close by Antonio and the final headed nod by Carroll to make it 2-1

Well us being good lasted a game and a half.

A fucking awful second half and some diabolical defending for the two West Ham goals.

Was quite disappointed by the atmosphere in the home end. Can't imagine it'll be any better at the Olympic Stadium either.

I disagree, I thought it was a decent atmosphere; home atmospheres are never anywhere near as good as away atmospheres and to be honest I could barely hear your fans apart from a couple of "oh when the Saints go marching in".
As to the game, I thought we were lucky to be in it in the first half, however, Bilic made the right substitutions and it showed in a much better second-half performance. It was nice to actually win a game for once, our first win since October.

Maybe it just's something to do with the ground then. I thought we were pretty decent until the second half, just like our team. :mell:

Yesterday highlighted our need for a proper first choice RB and another striker. Long was offering nothing in that second half but there wasn't any option to change him with. He looked knackered.
