Saw this on Experimental 361

A nice graphic showing the highest and lowest each club could mathematically finish

Play Offs here we come!
As soon as Newport's highest position is -1 from ours I will be happy.

There are some huge spreads there, Shoddy. With 6 games to go Notts County, Crewe or Crawley could still finish either 4th or bottom.

I suppose it's indicative of a fairly mediocre bunch of teams this year (and I include us in this). Doncaster are probably the only team that have combined the occasional classy display with a generally consistent level of performance throughout the season.

It's crazy that with 6 games to go it's still possible that 20th placed Morecambe could end up going up

Sadly for Morecambe, I suspect this representation isn't entirely accurate, whilst they can get 18 points putting them on 64 (currently enough for 5th), the reality is not everyone above them can get 0, so mathematically I'd suspect it's probably impossible they can get into the top 7.

Better cancel those train tickets down to Wembley lads, sorry.

Tom - pretty sure it is accurate. From the website "I’ve built a tool which narrows down how far each club can move based on the maximum number of points everyone has available and then checks for individual matches that limit how far each club can actually move before recalculating the table. "

Yeah, knowing the website I would expect him to have taken into account the effects of opponents playing each other.

Then that is a guy with way too much free time on his hands.

So it's possible we might end up in the play offs :fl::fl: What would be the point unless we played Carlisle? Carver will be livid when he reads this :woot:

We may no longer be able to win the title but since we've overcome Yeovil to once again become the greatest, most goalscoring and most unbeatable team in this tinpot division then we'll surely pip Plymouth to 2nd. KTF
