I met Mick McCarthy and Jim Melrose once. Melrose had on a pair of tight black leather trousers, McCarthy had a fat moustache.

Ashley Cole, Paolo Ferreira, Tal Ben Haim, Michael Ballack, Petr Cech (who lived literally right next to my old school), Peter Crouch, Tony Adams (played football against his son and scored a fluke from the halfway line haha), Perry Groves, Les Ferdinand... can't remember any others right now

Do Woking players count?! If so then times that list by 10

I met Bobby Moore several times many moons ago, (late 50's) Bobby's future wife, Tina and my future wife used to attend evening classes at Pitmans college in Forest Gate and we'd all meet up for a drink afterwards some weeks.

As I mentioned in another thread, my right foot met Alan Hansen's stomach during a school's football match.

Roy Hodgson, Gary neville, Glenn hoddle, Ian Wright, Lee Dixon, Gary Cahill, kyle walker , Danny Mills, pat jennings, various sheff utd current and ex players. Although to say I have met them all is not entirely true , most of them have either just been on the same plane, same bar , same foreign city.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Ian Brightwell came to my school to do some coaching. I met Gio Kinkladze in Tesco in Handforth Dean, when he was shopping with his mum. I was also on an airport shuttle-bus with Vincent Kompany and sat on the next table to Emile Heskey in a restaurant in the Trafford Centre. Geoff Hurst came to my work to do a celebrity endorsement thing and only signs autographs 'to' someone to stop people getting shit signed and then selling it on. I had a piss next to Teddy Sheringham in some nightclub in Manchester.

Eric Cantona used to get his hair cut at my local shops. (I grew up a mile or so away from Prestbury). I was once in the area when he left and was surrounded by autograph hunters. He walked past me and asked 'Do you want my autograph', and I looked at him for a moment and just said 'No'.

Urinated next to Matt Holland. Sat near Mick McCarthy on a train, didn't speak to him because I didn't want to interrupt his crossword. Only players I've actually spoken to are Kieron Dyer and Dean Ashton.

I was served stood next to Stephen Gerrard in a Liverpool pub about ten years ago. Fortunately, Phil Collins was playing. Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger were there too.
