Who Deserves It More?

This premier league season would be remembered for ages for all the reasons. This season can simply be regarded as premier league at its very best. We up till now have seen things which we probably never even dreamt off. Who knew Leicester would be top of the table. Who knew Spurs would be above Arsenal. Who knew the defending champions would succumb to get to European places. Nobody thought of West Ham thriving for European places.

However Leicester and Tottenham have been a class apart from rest of the bunch. With limited resources and less number of word class players and given their recent history both the clubs have done a pretty outstanding job up till now.

To be honest, Leicester deserve it more than anyone else this season. First and foremost they literally have negligible financial resources as compared to some usual contenders. Secondly they just haven't won their games by playing negative style of football. They have actually played some entertaining football and they have literally beaten the top sides by a huge margin at times. Their football has been exemplary.

Lastly, Leicester are defying all the odds. They are being a symbol of hope for every small club. They are truly redefining history and football both.

What do you think? Who deserves it?

I just want Leicester to win it because it makes the clubs who have spent millions of pounds efforts absolutely embarrassing. Will it stop though? Nah not a chance

Curzon Ashton....and Carlisle
Leicester are a foreign owned bankrolled club who were despised by most when they were in Championship.

now suddenly with the same set-up we're supposed to love them because the other 19 odd sides in the top flight flog their millions and millions on lots of average players.

If Arsenal had won league this season it'd been classed a terrible league with most badly under-performing, man utd have been dire, man city have been dire, chelsea have been dire.

Not really a fan of totttenham but at least they have as such sold talent, used money to bring in others and develop..........i'd rather they won.

Leicester have done well this season, but it doesn't show the small teams a way forward.......you still would need to spend ridiculously over-the-odds during that period to get there..............just people forget that part now.

Utlimately it comes down to what LOTAL said. If there were handicapping for money spent then Leicester deserve it more than the competition because the Leicester side costs less than some prices paid for single players at those clubs. But as it's about playing the game, whoever comes out on top at the end of the day deserves it. Spurs play good football as well.
A title win for Leicester is ultimately the more interesting one for the league, but Spurs have built their side and there are plenty of elements to a Spurs title that are good for the game that goes against the idea of buying the league.
It would be pretty incredible if Leicester, Spurs and West Ham all broke the top 4 in the same season with traditionally frugal (compared to the usual competitors) Arsenal wedged in there while the clubs that spend astronomical amounts all drop out of the European places.

Have to say Leicester, more consistent than Spurs. Dropped 5 points at home to Newcastle and Stoke, both winnable and would've put them neck and neck.
