Who are we still missing from TFF? (apart from the obvious of course)

It seems that none of the Hartlepool fans ever made it across here, I thought at first they were just extremely quiet but if there were any here they'd surely be quite noisy by now. I think I've seen MadJohn somewhere, can't remember who else there was, but I can see if I can fetch them. Cheltenham fans, there were a few of those on the old forum, not seen any here I don't think. Anyone else think of anyone who's missing or clubs whose fans haven't made it across?

Si-Robin the Cheltenham fan is over on 1FF, mentioned this place to him before but he didn't seem interested. There's quite a few Bury/Northampton fans missing I think.

Yeah I noticed that a small number of people seemed more than happy over there... most notably R1ch1e

A few people used 1FF and TFF at the same time, so when TFF died they wanted to just stick to one site that they knew would be there, it's easy and I totally get it, there was always going to be casualties. We got most of the 'core' users over on here. We will have to hope any stragglers decide to join eventually and starting growing our own user base

I actually reckon there's a better bunch on this forum than there was on TFF, the changeover seems to have filtered out a few of the bellends. Although maybe that's just because we're now two divisions away from the Rotherham lot. That embarrassing TrfcRGoingUp guy also seems to have been lost on route fortunately.

Haha, forgot about him. We seem to have managed to lose Anonymous(ECFC) too

I'll change my question... is there anyone missing who we would actually want back, and who isn't on 1FF instead?

Did you previously post on TFF mate? How is Flo Cuvelier getting on? Class player, far, far too good for league 1 if he can keep himself fit and get back to what he used to be. Shame injuries appear to be holding him back.

I didn't no.
Cuvelier looks great..but we haven't seen much due to injury! Due back against Stevenage so he can get hacked to pieces.....

Glad you made your way across here!

He is quality, you can tell that everything about him is above this standard of football. Great first touch, vision, strike. Really nice young lad too, hope he pulls himself together physically so that he can push on. There's a regular starting XI mid table Championship midfielder in there.

Lord Football and anyone else connected to the running of the original website (although he's the only one I can think of who supported a team in this division). I'm sure they're welcome here, but I don't expect them to actually come here. And also R1ch1e who seemed to be championing the cause of former TFFers joining 1FF rather than coming here.

Always half full mate! Glasshalffull is my name on ITB, someone tried to impersonate me on the other message board with my name so I thought I'd put my towel down as it were on here! Your right though, a lot can happen in 8 games, we are just excited to see ourselves bottom 1 point adrift....Luxury!!

LF does have an account on here but only made a few posts to explain what happened before moving on. Maybe he'll become more regular in the future, who knows.

I might post on the Shrewsbury forum actually, seem to remember a good few from there before, I also met one on a train once who was room-mates with our very own (or formerly our very own) Jeff Stelling which was quite odd.

Think basically the old admins on TFF were getting fed up of certain things, and made a decision to close the board down, initially with a 2/3 month wait to enable everyone to keep in touch etc. Saddlerad, who jointly runs this board now, set up a messageboard (this one), to enable a gradual transition into a new community over the space of 2/3 months. Basically one or two of the admins didn't like it and shut TFF down in a bit of a huff, meaning everyone had to sort of find this board unless you had Saddlerad on facebook or anything like that. Spread through Twitter, associations made down the years on TFF outside of the messageboard and gradually people are migrating. Close to 1000 members now which isn't bad in around 2 months.

There's actually been no mention of Marmite since this thread opened... I'd assumed it was only a matter of time before we got a new Marmite thread, but no sign of one yet.
