Our first home game in ages thanks to the cup runs. Our wingers Cowan-Hall and Weston are injured along with Hayes who i'm not bothered about. We have the best home defence in League 2 with only 2 defeats and only 10 goals conceded with only one of those in the first half a penalty v Yeovil. Talking of penalties we are giving too many away lately some of which lookednailed on and some not. Wycombe 2 Carlisle 1 i put in the prediction league.

Hayes is out? Great news for us.
And us  His legs have gone and only seems to play well in big games like at Spurs, not good enough as an out and out striker anymore plus we've got The Beast and Kashket who have scored 27 goals between them this season and with Southwell getting fit he'll be a sub most games.

Could go either way, I'm thinking it'll be a score draw. Grab a win though and that'll put us in a great position going forward.

I remember Wycombe being poor in the home game, Blackman kept them in it with some great saves. They've obviously improved greatly since then, but they've lost 2 on the trot now, so definitely winnable.

We don't really get penalties, so I doubt that'll change this weekend, even against the Wycombe brutes :animatedf:

I guess the man advantage Hayes gives you when he gets one of the opposition sent off isn't really much use if he can't then be the eleventh man himself.

Wycombe v Carlisle? :pond:I think it's a good thing a certain forum member, a Carlisle fan, has left the building as he would've got a little something to say.

Anyways, should be a good game this. Looks to me one of the most anticipated games out of the lot, with the others being the Donny/Luton one and obviously the six pointer between Notts and Orient.

Well this is the biggest game of your season so far. We are third, in the place where you are aiming to be. 3 points would be massive for you. Big game, Hayes would play well. It's a bonus for us if he doesn't play.

With Jamie Proctor there's hope.

I've seen him twice now and I'm already convinced that he's an upgrade on Wyke. Certainly as an all round player.

I'm worried about us defensively, some of our defenders are weak physically and mentally, very weak. Brisley and Raynes are good in the air but get knocked about off physical players, Gillesphey needs to be more aggressive but at least he showed more on Tuesday. Liddle is class for this level but not sure he's the type that could deal with Akinfenwa.

A point would be decent but I'm expecting a narrow defeat. 3-2 to Wycombe.

Akinfenwa has off games though, we may not necessarily need to deal with him. We didn't when they came to Brunton Park.

Spurs was more important just for the :£Around £3,000,000 earned through cup runs and the Jordon Ibe transfer is much more important than 3 points. :bravo:

This Wycombe fan is a bit full of himself isn't he!

Looking at the match it is no doubt a big match as are our next few but I think a draw would be a great result for us, as long as we're not conceding a pathetic last minute equaliser like last season, remember that Bastien Hery fella we had who literally didn't know how to head a football?

Think this is a bigger game for us than it is for CUFC given our poor run of results. Unfortunately I think that favours them more than us, but hey ho, I'm a glass half empty guy at the best of times so who knows.

Bollocks! Leading scorer Kashket and our best defender Pierre both miss out through injury, think i'll be happy with a draw now.

Not 100% on this cos can't be arsed to check, but I think we've only failed to score in one league game this season.

Normal service has resumed.

Things like this are why this shower of shit will fuck it all up and fail to make top 7.

I'm not there today (thank fuck) but one of the lads I usually go to aways with us and he text me just before kick off saying the players looked beaten before it had even kicked off. And he usually an optimist!

Thank god we got Proctor. I switched it off after the terrible start so not sure how we're playing but as long as we don't lose I don't care.

Get the feeling we'll concede more so hopefully we can create enough at the other end.
