We need to start winning at home as our last home win was on February 4th :ffs: Scott Kashket is fit again so i imagine we'll go 4-4-2 with The Beast partnering him up front. Cheltenham can't play Scott Brown in goal as he's on loan from us. Anything but a win will finish our slight chance of a play off spot and the next 5 games will be meaningless but maybe a chance for the bench warmers to impress the manager.

Just seen that Cheltenham have been allowed to sign a keeper on loan from Bury. Brown can't play and their no 2 keeper is injured but they have a 19 year old keeper as well but because he hasn't played a League game they can sign someone else, obviously they don't trust him or surely they would give him a league debut.

We definitely won't win because then we'd be nearly safe and that's not how we do things. Signed Lainton for one game from Bury which I'm alright with as our third choice has nothing close to FL experience and throwing him in for such a big game would be a bit risky imo.

Think we'll lose, 2-1 Wycombe.

I agree with 99. Lovett has bags of potential, but bringing a loanee in makes sense, even for just the fact that Lovett could be injured in the first minute. This way we still have a sub-keeper.

Any result other than a defeat will be a positive, I expect us to lose though.

If our keeper gets injured we'll have to bring on our 48 year old goalkeeping coach Barry Richardson. Still next season Brown will be our no 1 and i imagine we'll get a young keeper on loan as cover. Be interesting to see who Brown sits with today

We had Barry Richardson under Martin Allen, he started a Gloucestershire Senior Cup game against our biggest rivals, Gloucester City. He conceded 4 goals and was never heard of again.

He played at Plymouth last season after our keeper was carried off after 13 minutes, he made a couple of easy saves and our defence made sure he wasn't busy and we won 1-0,their fans went into meltdown after not beating a fat keeper who hadn't played for over 10 years

It's a lovely sunny day, the kids won their cup game this morning, we've just had a lovely lunch and the beer rack is full, and you just had to go and ruin it:bye:. It was blooming embarrassing, I can't remember one shot to test his "agility".

Sorry about that mate but it still makes me laugh when i think about it, he fumbled a couple but luckily our defence cleaned up his mess  On another day you'd have 10 it was just one of those days for your strikers and our luck.

Just seen our starting XI and it's shite, our 2 leading scorers Akinfenwa and Kashket are on the bench and Thompson the 36 year old donkey starts up front :ffs: Ainsworth said yesterday "We're still in contention for the play offs" (:fl:) well his team selection tells me he doesn't believe it and he's talking bollocks! :sna:

The donkey makes it 2-2 a minute after a Cheltenham player was sent off for 2 yellows. H/T. He should still be let go in ther summer as he's done nothing before today except scoring at Spurs in our 4-3 defeat in The FA Cup. :ohy:

The first Wycombe goal has been credited as an OG. We nearly lost in injury time against 10 men ffs!:mad: From some of our forums tonight there isn't a lot of support for Ainsworth,he won't be sacked even though the football is dire so i'll have to hope for some strange reason another club want him alas i can't see it happening. :sna:

Any coincidence Cheltenham tanked when Storer was suspended?

He's an absolute rock. He's been so unlucky this season, starting with the 8 game suspension (his own fault), the red against Crewe (deserved, but it killed his confidence), then the joke of a red card against Mansfield.

If we stay up, he'll be crucial in our spine next season. If we go down, he'll be our captain for a second bounceback season in 3 years.
