I'll take it. Shake hands on it now?

Seriously though, this is exactly the kind of game we'll lose. Fingers crossed we can avoid that.

Nailed on defeat for us, 21 winless in the South West isn't good. We hardly even score at Yeovil let alone get a good result there.

Plus Yeovil are 6 without a win and we're the renowned breaker of bad runs. Not a chance we score tonight let alone get a draw.

2-0 Yeovil.

Having seen our team news yes i'll shake on that now. Gary Warren is injured again which means you'll score - every game he's started we've kept a clean sheet, every game he hasn't we've conceded.

As I said, we're the breakers of bad runs. Expect a clean sheet and a win tonight.

No way on Earth we're getting a point from this game. Absolute gulf between the sides when it comes to attacking play. We're toothless.

It's such a shame because with a pacy forward up top with Bowery and maybe a natural winger to complement Kirk we may have threatened the Top 7 this season. But we're so fucking slow and it's painful to watch. January can't come soon enough but we'll be too far away from the top half to go on a good run to be up there by then.

We should have won that in the 2nd half. Were just not clinical enough. But 4 points from two away games is decent. A similar tally from the next two at home would do just nicely.

Would've taken that before kickoff but feels like two points dropped. We were by far the better side in that second half contrary to my initial prediction. But once again, that Westcountry jinx and poor finishing conspires us to leave feeling a bit short changed. Excellent performance except the two central midfielders, who did improve as the game progressed but loved giving the ball away for most of the game. Jones' corners are absolutely shocking too.

We're clinical finishing away from shooting up this league table, but because of our habit of writing off first halves of seasons, I still expect us to be in the region of 17th till January.

Frustrating as we had twice as many shots as Crewe (and twice as many on target) but that's 6 draws in the last 8 home league games and still 1 home win since February 13th. Shit form.

Most of which came in the first half after you scored because in the second half there was only one team in it. We were just ineffective with the crossed final balls often finding their way to Baxter's hands. Just shows how we fail to significantly test keepers that look incredibly dodgy.

I thought Yeovil were good, lively and threatening in the first half after we scored and absolutely turgid in the second half. And I'm often the first person to criticise us being woeful, but those stats don't seem to tell the full story. Yeovil failed to keep the ball, stood off us, let us move the ball about and we seemed unchallenged until we got to the box every time. Unfortunately, our crossing was woeful which means our dominance won't be recorded on the stats counter but the fact we had 9 corners (mostly in the second half) and a lot of crosses straight into Baxter's arms means we were very wasteful.

I think both sides are in a false position at the moment which will rectify as the season progresses. Yeovil remind me of us two seasons ago where we came out of the blocks, won a fair few games but didn't play particularly well, only to go on a horrendous run of form that saw Davis sacked when we plummeted down the table and ended up in our annual relegation battle. Yeovil aren't as bad as Morecambe and Macclesfield were, but they look very inconsistent. One minute they're counter attacking at will and the next they can't string two passes together for half an hour. As for us, I think our home form is solid and 4 points out of 6 on the road last two games has given us a good platform to build on, particularly with two winnable home games coming up. We just need to start taking more chances in front of goal, but we've been saying that for weeks now. We just can't afford to waste the best defence we've had for about 15 years with such ineffectual attacking play up top every week.

Pleased with the point, even if it does sound like it should have been more. It's a positive that at least we looked like scoring more than one and we actually had some chances, but again, we don't seem to be converting them into efforts on goal or actual goals.

Still, we've got into a bit of form now, so hopefully we can keep this going with back to back home games coming up.

10 of the starting 11 have represented the academy, obviously Wintle joined late and Whelan left early for Liverpool but still impressive stuff yet again.
