Good to see that York fans excelled themselves again yesterday - this time trying to get onto the pitch to attack their manager and also trashing an advertising hoarding which hopefully their club will be billed for. Surely its about time police clamped down on their hooligans as it isnt the first and no doubt not the last time their morons have wrecked an away day for their geniuine fans that dont go intent on causing trouble or picking a fight.

No need to worry, we won't be in the same division next season.

Any women involved?

I'd hold them to it for 20 years if I were an Accrington fan, that's what they have done to us after a woman fell over in 93.

So glad we beat them last week, would love to see them and their precious club and angel behaved fans wallow in the conference again.

Bury and York is one of the oddest rivalries in the Football League!

It's a one sided hatred, they give it but can't take it. They portray Bury fans as some sort of thugs yet come to Gigg Lane intent on causing trouble when we couldn't give a toss.

Sadly every single club has there minority of bellends. I love it when people get on there high horses about how scummy some fans are. The Hartlepool fan earlier, There were plenty of Hartlepool fans in Mansfield looking for bother this season and there were a few yesterday.

Also seen Plymouth, and Bury up here trying to cause abit of aggro in Town.

I am by no means into that sort of thing, I just like going out for a few beers before the game but why people come on here, Facebook or anything moaning about around 30/40 15-30 year olds being naughty boys I don't know. Every club has a set of them. Sometimes they are knobs, Our lot at Northampton away this season really were acting like twats but yesterday did nothing wrong at all. Which is usually the case. These days mind you only need to be drunk and stood up to be considered a hooligan!

I'll be the first to admit that we seem to have a relatively large hooligan element when compared to our crowds, but York have a large section of bellends that seem to only go to Bury away, (and Accrington it seems).

Got to feel for York though, Every club around them are bigger and even Rotherham have gone and left them. No wonder they have made a rivalry with you lot. None of the Sheffield clubs, Leeds, Bradford etc give a fuck about them.

Who is "they" exactly? I couldn't care less about Bury if I tried? Shockingly enough not all York fans have a unified dislike of Bury, we have some knobheads, so do every club in this division. Most York fans are fine, miserable fuckers perhaps, but fine. The idea we think we're perfect is laughable, but then I guess that's a pretty tasty bait to dangle.

Bottega, Wilcox is crap, didn't want him in the first place, feel the same now, we draw too much, he is obsessed with strikers despite the issue being creativity in the middle of the pitch and we still concede 90th minute goals on a bi-weekly basis, we'd be miles off the drop if we'd even managed to hang on for half of them, hell even a quarter.

Richard Cranium, we were always more rivals with Donny and Hull, who've obviously enjoyed sizable investment whilst we got fucked by the same hellhole you lot did so now there's literally nothing there. Scarborough and Halifax obviously went bust too.

It's not just York. A load of our element made the trip to Southend yesterday and it ended with one guy critical in hospital. Yes, critical - ie pretty nasty stuff.

Loads of rumours going round as to who did what to who and where but it sounds like the Cambridge thugs turned up looking for trouble which didn't happen before the game and most were then shipped out of Essex fairly sharpish afterwards. However some stayed and, trouble started at a pub with Southend and West Ham thugs which resulted in this outcome.

I just don't get it at all. Really fucks me off as it'll no doubt impact our fans as a whole. Sadly we have a group of 30-40 who seem hell bent on trying to spoil it for everyone else. :-(

See, every club has them. Obviously you don't know but if it was a Southend or West Ham thug that is in hospital than as heartless as I may sound they have no sympathy from me.

This whole youth casual scene is abit daft, I really don't care if they want to kick lumps out of other lads who want it aswell, So long as they don't start with innocent supporters who aren't there for all that, Like that delightful Hartlepool fan did to me yesterday then a group of his mates stood and goaded us as we got on the bus, which always make me laugh.

Unlike the mongs from Hartlepool who are posting on our forum though I won't bang on about how all Hartlepool fans deserve lining up and shooting because the few I spoke to in the Weatherspoons came across as decent lads and I wished them well for the season.

Oh no, the guy in hospital is from the Cambridge/Suffolk border - he's not a West Ham or Southend "chap". That's just about the only certainty in this whole thing. That and 2 from Essex arrested for GBH, one from Cambridge area arrested for criminal damage (putting a brick through a pub window - nice one - which kicked this incident off from what I can make out).

It's just a sorry state to think there's still this element doing this in 2015.

Edit: We should round them up and send them to Syria to see what fighting is really about. See where their "bravery" is then.

I echo your earlier point about it spoiling it for the everyone else though. Our game with Shrewsbury has been moved to a 1pm KO on Easter Monday. Our police wanted to make it 12.15 at first, I don't get this because it just means that anyone wanting to cause bother can hang around for abit longer after the game.

That is Notts Police though, they deal with big crowds every week at Forest v County but can't handle Mansfield v Shrewsbury

Oh yeah that's ridiculous. The Wrexham/Chester bubble days always make me laugh, it's so over the top for a 5k crowd when you think of games like Man U/Liverpool where fans are free to go where they want.

If us and Southend are still in this league again next season, it'll be early kick offs again as it was with Luton after the "incident" a few years ago. It's so frustrating.

They try and make out games with Luton Tuesday nights to avoid big followings. They loved it this year with Luton going through in the cup so it got moved. If it were a Saturday Notts Police would have tried moving it to a 1am Kick off in a neutral venue on Mars!

I personally don't get the whole idea of wanting a fight before, during or after a game, why?

Plus, fighting would take away from valuable drinking time, which is much more important to me

He's a horrible manager isn't he? Can't believe people criticized us when we sacked him, we threw away so many 90th minute leads too last year so I feel your pain.

York fans may not not be so confident in a couple of weeks. We've already bought 800+ tickets for that away game and I'm pretty sure we'll sell out the 1500 allocation.

After all, we're deep in the shit but we're used to being that way and we have a habit of rallying.

The Nick Cruwys incident really does show that there needs to be a clamp down on violence at football.

I think there is a history of trouble in this game although I have no idea why! There is always a massive police presence when we play Mansfield. I remember going to Mansfield away around 93-94 and there seemed more police in the away end that there were Shrewsbury fans.
