What are your views on scot flinders ?
I will say in his day at pools he was ok but the last few seasons he seemed not intrested

I don't attend the games currently for a few reasons, but it's a bit early to be really assessing Flinders career at York surely?

Most goals Flinders conceded were low and in the corner , and his coming off the line was gamble he often lost ... that was 2 of the 3 yesterday .... I think that will sum up most of Yorks goals against this season ........ Hello Richo , we thought you'd left the country !

Loads of ale in York, as you probably know. I'd probably avoid most of the places near the ground, and it seems like the Pitchside is in the process of being ruined, so...

York Tap at the railway station - couple of dozen ales on but not cheap and slow service. The Minster Inn on the way to the ground - Marston's house. For cheap stuff any of the several Sam Smith's houses in town, my personal preference would be the York Arms near the Minster or Trafalgar Bay on Nunnery Lane. The Ackhorne on St. Martins Lane off Micklegate. The Swan and Slip Inn in the Bishopthorpe Road area. If you can be bothered to hike up Holgate Road then you have the Fox (Ossett), Volunteer and Crystal Palace (Sam's). In the city centre, Three Legged Mare (York Brewery), Duke of York (Leeds Brewery), the Hop (Ossett) are all good.

That ought to keep you going for a bit.

DON'T BUY ANY FOOD DURING THE GAME
Wait till full time and then they come round selling it for half price

Have a good breakfast , sandwich shops charge a fortune , I made the mistake of going into the Cornish pastie shop and ordered 2 without looking at the prices .....have you ever seen a grown man cry ?

Flinders saved two in our victorious penalty shootout against Bradford last night, the second of which was absolutely stunning.

Looks like a great signing to me, especially thinking about some of the dross / random loanees we've had in the nets recently...

I notice though , just reading the BBC sports page , the injury time goal he conceded was low into the corner .... dozens and dozens of our goals conceded in the last couple of years have been like that .... its a weakness and everyone knows it ..
