Aye. Never comfortable with Cooper third choice. Pennington looked decent so far so him and Jansson could be fine but wouldn't mind a proper partner coming in. Then we're getting more or less there.

Bolton must be the most direct side I can remember at this level for some time, will definitely cause teams problems with those balls into the box.

Pleased with that. Our weakness was what we expected it to be so at least where we've recruited looks pretty covered. We looked good for a lot of the game and we finished it with Ayling-Shaughnessy-Cooper-Anita at the back which is a long way off our first choice (though Anita played well tbh). Hopefully Pennington and Berardi can be back soon and with Jansson to return, a promising start, albeit against a side who could struggle this year.

Liked the look of us going forward. Good to see Hernandez and Phillips put in performances after people suggesting others should be in ahead of them.

if he isn't injured I expect Jansson to slot straight back into CB, rumours are he's the captain this season too
