Would go for Tomkinson over Taylor based on at least we know Taylor is pants. Could see a 3-3. Not even a sniff of a new manager yet but Super Kev has been superb so far.

I remember being man handled by the stewards behind the goal when I was waiting for the mrs to come out the toilets at the end. This big burly bastard literally picked me up and threw me towards the stairs telling me to shift. Problem was I never heard him ask as I was on the phone.

Also, please don't let another lad who has never played league football make his debut - no doubt he'll score a worldie with his first touch again!

They must have extra butch stewards in the away end, the home stands just have foreign looking uni students regretting the £20 cash in hand for standing motionless in the cold for a couple of hours.

Yeah, that’s including your lot.

If you’re behind the goal, no alcohol due to open concourse. You’re fine if you’re in the Midland Road stand.
Cheers, we're behind the goal.

At least Barnett is back so we'll be fielding a proper RWB.

Barnett is a cracking winger, just not a wing back. Can't defend for shit.
So long as Hayden's on it (unlike last weekend) we'll be fine on that side. If anything I think the left side is typically weaker.

Our performances are very inconsistent at the moment. If we turn up we are more than capable of getting something at Bradford, but if we don't (or just for one half as is often the case lately) then there is a good chance we will get beat.

Our October return is decent so far, so would be nice to keep that going.

I didn't expect much in all honesty in October, but so far been a very good return. Also the fact that we are chopping and changing the squad to deal with suspensions and injuries.

FGR at home, we let them knock the ball around the back 2 years ago for 5 minutes so they could get the draw they needed to go up as Champions. Hope they roll over for us this weekend to say thank you for that

The return of the Peckham Pirlo to Crawley. Such a sad nickname but not a bad player.

It seems Campbell hasn't recovered from his play acting v Wrexham and is now wearing a blue boot. Wrexham manager is really going to go to town on him for such fakery.

We need to learn to score.

Usually I prefer being behind the goal at away matches but the last 2 seasons I’ve been to Bradford twice and last year I was behind the goal and this year in the side and it’s actually a way better atmosphere in the side.
Just seems loads noisier in there when singing and when you score and we were ahead at half time in both games so it’s nothing to do with different results creating different atmospheres or anything.
That massive stand they have to the left of the away end created quite an intimidating noise too when they got going.

The past is another country. Now it's hoping to scrape the points not to go down with a record low total again.

Yep, managed to go from champions to fighting relegation in two years. Quite an effort tbf.

Is that the lad who was injured in the red card? I thought it was a stone wall red card and was about half hour late and an appalling 'tackle'. No complaints from me. We restricted you guys to shooting from distance in that 2nd half, though and if you moved the goals about 18 miles south, you'd have hit the target :D

Tranmere away on Friday, we got beat 3-0 there last season and have managed a whopping 6 wins on the road in the league since being relegated to League 2. Add to that the amount of players who are still out injured, Rowe and Close both hobbled off and no news as to whether they will be fit, I can’t see anything but another away defeat

You must be really REALLY bad if you lose to Tranmere. They are by far the worst team i've seen this season against us.

Will he get a good reception from your lot? Hes been a good signing, just gone abit under the radar for how amazing of a signing Micky Demetriou has been.

He's has tended to tire quickly though, it's only been the last few weeks where has eventually been able to get through 90 minutes.

As for the game, tough one to call. Crawley obviously done alot better than expected, but the last few games have seemed to off the boil abit. Weve been scoring goals for fun, so I'd expect goals. Weve not had a 2-2 I a while so wouldn't be a suprise to see a return to our favourite scoreline this season.

Crawley 2-2 Crewe (Tsaroulla, Orsi, Long, Powell) (2350 (230 Crewe)

Is there such a thing as a decent pre match boozer for MK?

a boozer full stop is hard to find, never mind a decent one.

It’s a soul destroying place to visit, be wary.

Yes, went to the Plough pre match a few weeks ago for some dinner and a couple of pints, all excellent. About a mile away from the ground.

Hang on, you’re playing Salford, yeah that’s shit.

Been to MK a couple of times and have always got a cheap cab into Fenny Stratford.
A decent pub there by the canal.
MK itself is just a long, stretched out dive.

Crawley are struggling to score. Some lovely play upto the last third and suddenly good players sink to my level. Every now and then we are going to bang a few in but mostly not.

Not complaining yet though. We aint the best but at least this season we look like we are playing some football.

Powell should get some good cheers and a few boos (well you have to).

A lot has happened since last season. If (1) Luke Norris is back and (2) Adkins puts a defensive midfielder in to protect the back four, we've got a chance. Both first choice keeper McGee and central defender Tom Davies will be suspended so veteran Joe Murphy and Turnbull, returning from a suspension of his own, the likely replacements.

The biggest issue is, I don’t think our owners will actually pull the trigger for a while so I don’t think there’s a dilemma to be had.

I think it’s time for a change, but we might be deep in the shit before that change is made. We’re relying on a guy to turn it around who, in reality, has had one genuinely good season in the EFL in his managerial career.
You can put up with turgid football if you are getting results. Creating chances with attacking football but dropping silly points is bearable. When you are losing AND the football is dull as ditchwater it is a recipe for disaster.

If and when Hurst goes I expect the owners to go down the route of a first team coach rather than manager. That would fill me with dread.

Stockport are on the charge and can’t see anything other than a home win

Yes, go to Wolverton on the canal. It's only a ten minute or so drive to the ground from there.

Edit , What the Last Waltz said, Fenny Stratton.
Long time ago now but went to a lovely little pub in a beautiful setting on the canal.
