Mehmeti at Wycombe looks a cut above this level.

oh yeah, he'll almost certainly be gone in January, just hope we don't fold at the first bid that comes in.

Pompey looked well off the pace today, and certainly less than the sum of their parts, there's obviously quality there but they underperformed for sure.

That used to happen at around the 70 minute mark when the Crowleys were running the show at Lincoln...fans from pretty much every club they played against seemed to have noticed...but they continued to get away with it. Can't remember if they are still deploying the tactic now they are at Pompey...maybe one of their fans can confirm if it is a regular thing.
Evans started that with Stevenage.. we have actually done it under DC a few times.

I should say however, great away support from Pompey despite it being on Sky. I watched it on iFollow, so can't criticise myself, but our home support looked well down on the usual numbers.

Yesterday was the first time we've conceded more than one goal for about two months I think. I thought we might have had some players returning but didn't, we lost even more!

Robson at LB is becoming a liability, he's cost us three goals this season from brain fart mistakes that a L1 defender shouldn't be making and cost us points. I've never been sold on him anyway but it's becoming more apparent that he's out of his depth at this level IMO and isn't showing signs of improvement.

I think the loss was a bit unfair on Cambridge who were the better side first half. But if the Cambridge captain was indeed attempting to garden around the penalty spot before Wickham scored the winning spot kick, then they deserved to lose. That's a Uruguayan level of shithousery we could do without.

This is our rough patch of the season, without a doubt. Thankfully, it's resulting in draws rather than defeats. We're still never looking like losing games. Good time to get it out the way but the manner in which we drop points is disappointing.
If it is our rough patch, that bodes well because we’re top of the form table of the last six games.

Pompey fans booing at half time, apart from a 5-10 min spell they've been pretty disjointed. That said, we're generally worse in the second half of games, often having puffed ourselves out, so no room for complacency, especially only being 1-0 up.
The fans have been pretty patient with the Cowleys, generally. However, one league win since September 3rd and going game to game, barely creating any chances has certainly turned many against them. Our excellent start to the season seems a long time ago.

We desperately need a spark so getting either Tom Lowery or Michael Jacobs back from injury at some point in the future is key.

There are some big decisions needed over our loans come January. After a bright start, Josh Koroma has been hugely disappointing and is likely to return to Huddersfield. It's a similar story for Dane Scarlett, but Cowley still rates him highly so I reckon we'll try to retain him. Josh Griffiths has been OK in goal so will likely stay. Owen Dale has been a real success but there are rumours that Blackpool want him back.

It's the sort of functional/attritional football that won't keep the fans onside for too long. It's great when you're picking up 1-0 wins but if you dry up in front of goal and teams figure you out, you're left with not only dull games but not winning either. I think the Cowleys still have a bit of a lower league mentality of nick a goal and shut up shop and with your budget you can do so much better.

Good club, great support and I feel it's only going to end one way with the Cowleys.
