A jolly good 4-1 thrashing is wot I've foreseen and a complete erasing of last weeks debacle.

We'll have to play a lot better than we did at MK a few weeks ago if we're going to get anything from this one. We were extremely lucky to come away from that match with a point after 2 late Taylor goals got us back to 3-3 in th final few minutes. We were outplayed and deserved nothing.

It shows how tight the league is. Rovers have only scored 5 more goals than MK and MK have actually conceded 1 goal less. There isn't much to choose between 5th and 22nd and any team is capable of beating any other on their day.

While MK had the week off Rovers had a gruelling 120+ minutes against Crawley in the cup on Tuesday night and that could well have an effect on DC's team selection and how long we're able to play at a high tempo. I do think that could give the edge to MK.

Based on the first game and half the team cramping on Tuesday night I'd almost say I'd be happy with a point but equally feel we're capable of getting all 3. As with most games in L1 it could go either way and is very dificult to predict.

I was impressed by MK in the reverse fixture, but it's worth remembering that it was our formation at the start of the game that contributed to us playing so badly and them playing so well.

I've said on numerous occasions that I fancy us against any side in this division and that remains the case this weekend. It will be a much tougher game than the league table suggests and we'll have to put in a better performance than we did at Stadium:MK, but we are more than capable of it. I'm hoping we get the balance in midfield right - that's where the game could be won or lost.

Unlike the 3-3 at Stadium MK this game won't live long in the memory.

We made 7 changes due to severe fatigue after playing nearly the entire game last week with 10 men and then a gruelling 120 minutes on Tuesday night in the cup. Those changes also forced a change in formation and we didn't really get going in the first half. MK had a lot of the ball and limited us to the odd attack on the break. That said, apart from a couple of decent long range efforts MK didn't come that close to scoring. There were certainly no clear cut chances and a glancing header by Clarke nearly gave us an undeserved lead at the break.

About 10 minutes into the second half DC made a triple substitution bring on Lines, Gaffney and Taylor. That made a big difference and from that point on I think we looked the more likely winners. MK keeper made a great low save towards the end when it looked like Easters header was going to sneak into the corner.

Overall I think a draw was a fair result. MK are a decent side and I'm sure it won't be long before they start climbing the table.
