Most of us are at the halfway stage right now, so how does the report card for your side look so far?

Manager - C. Signed a lot of decent players in the summer, just mostly all for the same position! He has changed our system in recent weeks and we've got better, so kudos to him for that.

Club - A. We're run well. Scally put his hand in his pocket in the summer, and could easily have cashed in on Dack but didn't to try and strengthen us. Also showed patience with Edinburgh when a lot had turned against him (including myself, I'll admit that) and things have started to turn around. Can't really fault him.

League Performance - D. We should be troubling the play-offs, simple as. We have some genuinely top players (for the league) but we've just been poor.

Cup Performance - D. Out of the FA Cup to a non-league side again, out in the first round of the Pisspot Trophy, but the League Cup wasn't bad - good win at Southend, excellent win and result of the season to beat Watford at Vicarage Road, before a tepid display at Tottenham which was such a damp squib. Would've been an E without Watford.

Overall: C- - Could do a LOT better.

Feel free to add any categories!

Manager - D. Luke Williams does all the interviews and Tim Sherwood picks the team and tactics (apparently). Williams was given a 5 year contract as he's a shit hot coach (apparently) but his record as manager is diabolical and he hardly inspires with his dour interviews. He seems to know what the problem is with the mentally frail players but never seems to do anything about it. Hopefully Sherwood might use his contacts in the January transfer window and overhaul this sorry side who need a real kick up the backside!

Club - C. Many fans are not happy with Lee Power but we seem to be well run and are breaking even. LP has recently stopped his mantra of playing 'football' at all costs, however we defend lamely and rarely look like scoring, Luke Norris and Nathan Delfouneso have replaced Ajose and we just don't have the goals in the side.

League Performance - D. Its difficult to know where we should be in the league, I reckon we should be around mid-table but we are in a relegation fight currently. LP knows we need to recruit in January, hopefully we have deals lined up as soon as the window opens. We need numbers across all areas of the field (apart from in goal)

Cup Performance - E+. Out of the FA Cup to a non-league side again in pathetic fashion, again! We 'beat' Oxford on penalties in the farcical group competition before bowing out in the knock out phases with a home defeat to a weakened Luton side which (happily) put paid to the dreams of a Wembley appearance (yay!), In the League Cup we put together a great performance at QPR only to go out on penalties. It was good to see a bit of fight and desire in the side that night, seems a very long time ago now!

Overall: D- Hopefully 2017 will see an improvement. Atmosphere is crap, fans can't be bothered, there is no buzz about the place at all. Its all a bit sad and sullen really.

Manager - U - totally clueless and inept, failure to modify failings and a stubbornness to continue with a system that doesn't work. 'Resigned' Boxing Day and now over to Michael Brown to state his case.

Club - C - Club isn't in too bad shape bar the fact the fans have lost interest. Financially this gamble with the foreign lads was covered by the chairman personally but we spend more money now than we have since the Bell era. Divisive opinion amongst fans but I'm not currently bricking it that we will enter administration like under V2001!

League Performances D - started off well, a solid point at Bradford and comfortably beat Southend and Rochdale before cruising past Scunthorpe and Millwall. Everything changed early October when Coventry beat us after a horror show at Vale Park, we stumbled past MK on TV then got battered at Bramall Lane and has been pretty much downhill since with only a fortuitous win against Fleetwood being our last and only win in 11 league games. The Coventry game just saw our confidence drain and teams figured out that if they press us high it stopped us playing in the system we use... unfortunately Bruno failed to adapt to us being found out!

Cup Performance C+ - Diabolical but standard away defeat at Carlisle in the EFL cup all be it with a few changes to our usual XI and group stage exit in the Check a Trade didn't really bother anyone. The main cup though the FA Cup we have made the third round without conceding after a lucky 1-0 win against Stevenage and a 4-0 destruction of Hartlepool. Awful draw awaits at Huddersfield, probably as bad as we could of got however.

Overall D - Started well, dropped dramatically, a new manager and expected British signings should see us improve in 2017 however.

Manager - C. Came in when the club had little players and no staff with the club recently sold, so was never going to be easy. Bought in some decent players but hasn't solved the one problem we've had for 2-3 years, getting a decent striker in. The football is a lot better under McCall and I've come away from a number of draws this season actually quite happy with the way we've played but we lack a cutting edge upfront. Honestly think if we had a top quality striker we would be top 2.

Club - A. So far, that is. Absolutely no complaints from me regarding the new owners. Be great if they dipped their hands in their pockets for a striker in January but they don't seem the type to throw money for the sake of it.

League Performance - B. A lot better off than I thought we would be at this stage of the season. As I've said, we are just missing the final piece to the puzzle which is a striker who can actually score goals. Once we've got that we'll be ok and make the play offs.

Cup Performance - F. Poor. Didn't understand the reason for a weakened side against Accrington in the FA Cup but life moves on.

Overall: B - We're nearly there, waiting patiently for something to click in the final third then it's promising times.

Manager - B. Signed a couple of decent players to supplement our play-off winners from last season.

Club - A. Very well run. We don't have shedloads of cash but the combination of an ex accountant as CEO and a manager who can spot an affordable good player and we're doing well.

League Performance - B. Top half and flirting with the play-offs on occasion. Higher than we have the right to be given our budget.

Cup Performance - C. We're still in there but needed a replay before thrashing Bury and had to get an injury time winner having been 0-3 down to a team 3 leagues below us. Might rise to a B if we beat Sutton.

Overall - B. Doing much better than I thought we would.

Manager - A. A few minor tactical mistakes in games but that's expected from a L1 manager. So far Alexander has been excellent. We've attacked and defended fantastically so far and he deserves to take a large chunk of the credit for that. It's been refreshing to see a manager use 4-4-2 for us after a couple of years of a failing 4-3-3.

Club - A. Chairman is a top lad. I really appreciate how well we seem to be ran, especially when you see some of the other clubs in this league with terrible owners.

League Performance - A. Don't think anybody really expected us to be where we are right now. Sure, we might not be top for much longer but to be top for 3 months straight is a pretty good achievement. If you compare our squad to those around us, we're doing very well. We just gonna hope we can keep it up.

Cup Performance - C. Lost in the 2nd round of the EFL Cup, won every game in the Checkatrade trophy, crashed out in the first round of the FA Cup. Losing in the 1st round was a big disappointment as it was a very poor tie and we played poorly.

Overall - A. Doing a lot better than I thought we would be, just need to keep it up.

Sure you did fella :lol::lol::lol:

From memory we scored 3 of our 5 penalties and you scored 2 of your 5 penalties which if my basic calculations serves me correctly means we scored 3 and you 2, meaning we win the penalty shoot out.

I don't agree with having penalty shoot outs in the tournament anyway but we did win this one my friend.

Manager F and F - Chairman sacked one clueless clown and replaced him with an inexperienced assistant manager with an 18% win record. So far he has lost 5 and drawn one.

Club F - Our chairman is a clueless fat Yorkshire tosser who treats winding up petitions like an overdue library book. Hasn't got a clue about football and seeks to blame fans at any opportunity. We have massive debts which are unsustainable.

League performance F - out of the relegation zone by the skin of our teeth. 3 tough games next up against Bradford (A), Sheffield United (H) and Scunthorpe (A) will see us bottom of the league. 14 defeats in 23, including a record breaking 12 game losing streak.

Cup performance F - Out of every cup at the 1st round.

Overall - F - Been absolutely depressing being a Bury fan for the last 3 months. The fact we celebrated a 0-0 at Fleetwood on Boxing Day shows how bad it's been. Off the pitch we are fucked and on the pitch we are dreadful. Injuries all over the place. Saturday saw 10 first XI players out on the sidelines.

Fans - A - Despite the horrendous season so far we still turn up every week and spur the lads on. 785 went to Fleetwood on the back of 12 defeats in a row.

You might have won the bonus point penalty shoot out super fun mega game. You might have won the half time raffle and the cross bar challenge and the FIFA tournament on the PS4 afterwards, but we are talking about the football match - there's three points for a win and you didn't get three points because you didn't win.

How is Sherwood's win percentage?

We actually got 2 points for a win in the ludicrous tournament.

Dunno, about 8% probably.

What about in the FA Cup?

Not matter what way you try and spin it or how pointless the competition may be, you still lost.

What about in the FA Cup?

If you lose in the FA Cup you're out the competition. Did we get knocked out?

Also, this wasn't the FA Cup. So the rules for the FA Cup are irrelevant. In the tin pot trophy, the rules state three points for a win.

Pathetic attempt.

Fuck me, I've seen some petty, small-minded, pointless arguments on here, but who won what in a penalty shoot out in the Chickenshit Trophy must be the winner!!
Well done lads, well done.

Good point. Out of interest, what meaningful and weighty arguments have you seen on this Internet football forum?

Most threads on here aren't what you would call highbrow, but your argument is childish in the extreme. Should be in the tinpot thread to be honest.

Manager - B. Doing well, all things considered. We don't have the greatest squad we've ever had but he's built it from Westley's shit and is making it work. We play good football, and he's a very honest, upfront bloke.

Club - C. Still got a lot to do as a club but the way we've advanced off the field with regards to training ground etc since MacAnthony has been here is brilliant. This season as a club we've done some stupid things so as said, work to do.

League Performance - B. Play off contenders. Considering our last two seasons, back where we should be but I don't think any of us really expected it.

Cup Performance - C. Still in the FA Cup after scrapping past Chesham and Notts County. About to get fucked by Chelsea in R3. That checkafarce cup is insignificant and we went out to a Prem team in the EFL Cup too!

Overall - B. Can't really complain.
