Then why has he already turned you down, you clown.

It’s OK Mas don’t get offended, I’m only joking.
I know you are only a wind up merchant having a laugh.
I mean, no one could actually be as stupid as you pretend to be or they wouldn’t be allowed to roam the streets unsupervised let alone have access to the internet.

Not really. He did say he’d turned down 4 clubs, 1 of which was before this season started. Surmising it’s Bolton based on location and realistic jobs available at that time.

Can’t think of anyone else who’d fit the bill.

well, he obviously didn’t apply as he didn’t want the job. Doncaster obviously didn’t offer him the job as he came out and said he didn’t want it.

Surely, you know how these things work.

Not really, we don’t approach managers who are in work and I wouldn’t expect Wellens to have applied whilst doing such a good job at Swindon, if he leaves or feels he has taken Swindon as far as he can you never know. Personally I would rather he didn’t, he has legend status at Donny and I would hate to see that diminish if he didn’t do a good job. Having said that Darren is doing an outstanding job and I don’t see a vacancy on the horizon any time soon

We've announced a link up with Cadbury"s which I think see's them part finance an extension to the Stacey West Stand and invest in community activities. Sounds great but I am sure Luke Imp will know more.

Think we've covered for a large part of the SW, I think this is for the additional community things rather than the build itself.

To announce this link-up would suggest we've been given assurances we'll still get the £1m grant even after what's happening with Covid.

Do we think Ricketts has long left at Shrewsbury? Not had many wins recently, play a pretty dull game and hardly scoring is not a great mix.

I think the EFL should have thought ahead given the virus situation. It looks likely to be stop and start all season. One idea would have been just play the other teams once, split home and away, with half the sides getting an extra home match although without fans this would not have the same impact playing in front of fans.

This would have delivered a reasonable season, maintained the competition, delivered promotion and relegation. It would also ease the fixture congestion, put less strain on players injuries and provide space for the inevitable postponements and shutdowns that, going from the papers today, seems to be coming.

Ipswich and Lincoln fined £2.5k and £2k respectively under this 'failure to control their players' bollocks.

Lambert also got charged but I'm not sure whether that's another one on top of his first.

Sounds like Sheridan is leaving his month-to-month contract at Wigan to join Swindon. Final game this weekend.
