Signed keeper Tom King from Salford until the end of the season. Assume that means Burge injury is worse than we thought and cant keep going with Maxted starting. Played a lot at this level so assuming there are some opinions on King.

Nah, no chance he'd play left-back (he only played wing back in non-league as we crammed as many forwards into the team as possible). He's mainly a left winger but think he sees himself as a second striker type.

Class. Was our star midfielder last season. He's a little dynamo who has a superb range of passing. He's not really hit the same heights this season, possibly due to change of manager and possibly because he wants to leave. How much you paying us for him? (He's out of contract end of this season)

Heard today we're still trying to sign Jack Marriott from Peterborough, his wages apparently providing a stumbling block, but we're prepared to pay the fee Peterborough want.

Also apparently we will be buying another centre back.

Youngster Dan Nkrumah has been recalled from his loan at Welling and was on the bench today - strong rumours that he will be sold to a Championship club in this window.

We completed the loan signing of Jonathan Tomkinson from Norwich yesterday until the end of the season. Was an unused substitute today vs Harrogate. Young centre back who can play anywhere across the back line. We've needed a back up at centre back for a while so this definitely fills a need.

Actually to be fair I have nicked this excerpt from our forum which sums up how the majority of town fans feel about todays transfer

Play like we did yesterday and we could win 15 of the last 20 which will take us to the top 3. Its Div 4 though and good players are in this league for a reason which usually means they are young and inexperienced and/or largely inconsistent. Walsall away and Stevenage at home will tell us where we are likely to end up

Their first season with a chance and the first winter window they do nothing.
