Wonder whether we’re allowed to drink within 10 miles of the ground this season?

View attachment 19154
Should be, there is not really any issues now as your end is round the back so don't really have to mingle with home fans so not the choke points and to be honest after that game Sheffield Wednesday for instance had no issues down here. It was a massive over reaction and unsure why the police force did it, it wasn't done again.

Not sure how away pubs are working this year as you enter via dimensions which is between Burslem and Tunstall way, all be it a lot of the pubs are home fans anyway regardless, the Vale social on the ground is mainly home fans as part of the home fans fan zone, the away end doesn't sell beer as concourse is in view of the pitch but I believe they have a temporary fan zone behind the away end until a permanent one is built.

Having experienced the Hamil for the first time in a cup its miles better than the Bycars (hence the reason for the swap along with the acoustics benefitting away fans in the Hamil) so other than the score board not being in your way the experience of the facilities is going to be far worse.

Nothing to shout about unfortunately

Credit where it’s due though. Could hear you very clearly down the other end. Probably the first time in about 20 years there’s been noise (obviously every other year it’s been a home end) from that stand so fair play.

No official figure but 1,800+ frustrated Bolton fans down at Reading.

332 from Cheltenham. Still shocking
In what way is it shocking?

It's more than 10% of our home fans, travelling a fair distance (just because we're relatively close for Exeter, doesn't mean you're one of our closer games) to watch a team that haven't looked like scoring a goal all season.

I think 332 is a fucking miracle to be honest.

In no way is it a fair distance, its an absolute doddle, and no train strikes or incident on the M5 this time to excuse the crowd

It's two hours by car - I can think of 4 games closer off the top of my head.

And I repeat - this is a team that haven't scored a goal in the league this season. Who wants to watch that shit?

What's truly shocking is that Exeter could only score 1 themselves.

wtf are you slagging Cheltenham fans for. taking 300+ fans to your shite hole is pretty good I'd say. Its not like you take thousands away is it, have you forgotten your visit to FP recently. I think you all came in a taxi that night.

So you've all given up because you're on a bad run? Not sure you deserve to be watching league one football.
We didn't score more than one because our strikers are all injured, bar an 18 year old who isn't ready.

Cheltenham following is ok to be honest, it’s a couple of hours and they are a relatively small club in terms of home numbers for percentage wise that’s not that poor.

The weirdo seems to have a thing for Cheltenham - when we beat them in March he moaned about our pitch. Literally no-one else moaned about our pitch last season.

I'm missing three attendances for yesterday - Wigan, Reading and Barnsley; does anyone have these three?

Bolton been given 3100 tickets for vale away at the end of the month so it's not that much difference to what was allocated last season.
The away allocation changed a few times last season. It was 3,300 for Bolton but they didn't quite sell out so wasn't an issue. By the Wednesday game it had gone up to 3,700, then Derby had ,3,900, and finally Plymouth had 4,000. It was all to do with H+S for some reason. Think it was reduced any time we gave out unreserved seating.

Drinking wise, away fans are getting a pub between Tunstall and Burslem, so they can walk fans straight to the Bycars End. Otherwise, get to Burslem with no colours on, get to the Bulls Head, you can't go wrong.

286 Burton at Vale. The rearranged fixture for midweek knocked some off both the home and away numbers tonight really.
