Akinde is transfer listed and have 3 players who we have offered contracts but haven't yet signed.

Providing no one else leaves then we need a decent keeper and centre back

I highly doubt Brindley will stay (he'll have offers in for him for sure) and the same goes for Mauro (although I think his injury is an awful one too). I didn't say better, but we need them. I doubt Brindley will fancy NL football and we need a midfielder + winger etc. It was an ideal rather than anything else.

If they aren't better then I see no point in signing them. Even without Brindley I would expect Mauro or Harry Taylor to play right back.

What's quite clear from that is that the new gaffer coming in next week has a lot of work to do over the close season. If players such as Kristian Dennis and o'grady are to leave, it needs to be done early on in the summer so that we have sufficient time to replace them!

I'm sure we have some contracted for next season, but the only one that's common knowledge is Nathan Ashmore. Praying we can keep hold of him.

Would like to see us keep the majority and sign another 4 or 5 to improve on what we already have. Desperately in need of a couple of strikers. Maybe John Akinde fancies returning home.

We should be releasing our retained list back end of this week I reckon. Jack Connors, Anthony Cook and Marvin McCoy have all been let go. Shame to see Connors go, he came good towards the end of the season. I would expect another 4 or 5 will be released.
