Would say 50-60 Town at Braintree.

Counted 48 behind the goal second half plus the odd few in the seats and around the ground.

It was tweeted (by a CTFC fan, so take it with a pinch of salt) that two of the Gateshead fans were actually FGR fans. Still a journey like that on a Tuesday night, fair play to those Gateshead fans.

Unable to get back from Bradford late at night on the trains so couldn't so, but those who went say about 80-100 Boston in a crowd of 402 at Bradford P.A tonight.... actually one of their larger crowds this year despite freezing weather

Around 50 of us i'd say. Around 30 behind the goal then 20 dotted around
So less than a side that's been in bottom 4 all season took 200 miles to Braintree on same night. I ask again, what is the fucking point of clubs like yours? You have absolutely fuck all to offer the Football League, should you get there. The FA should hang it's head in shame for allowing this nonsense to continue.

I hope that if we don't make the play offs (and we are only just confine on until he chasing pack play their games in hand and overtake us) then the play off final is contested between Braintree and Dover.

They could sack off Wembley stadium and play it on the 5 a side pitches next door. Non League, Baby!

For any Dover supporters wanting a nice evening trip to Macclesfield, the postponed game has now been rearranged for Tuesday 12th April.

Says the fan of a club who were OUTNUMBERED AT HOME last week.

What would you offer the football league may I ask? An example that cheating your creditors pays off in the long run?

Nah, you can't have a pop at another club for being outnumbered at home when your own club hardly has any supporters of its own.

Surely that applies both ways though? How can he have a go at us when his teams support is shit?

Wah whah it's not fair what about him wah wah. You've barely lost a game all season and your taking 50/60 to away games. Grimsby brought nearly 2000 to The Shay, you brought 73 . Even we'd be taking 700 to Forest Green if we were in your position. Your support is an embarrassment and you know it. :£:£:£:£:£

Not remotely embarrassed .. I'm baffled by this obsession with how many supporters clubs bring to away games, by the fact it has its own thread and is debated endlessly. I don't understand why anyone cares.

BTF your obsession with us is getting a bit embarrassing for you.

Never understood the obsession with away followings. It would be easy for me to blag on about how we've consistently had more at home than you throughout the season, but it's quite boring haha.

Woking to 10 to Grimsby, Gateshead took 10 to Cheltenham, so 50 to guiseley (400 mile round trip) isn't too bad.

Guisley may have had only 500 at home, but they made a load more noise than you guys. And they shook our hands afterwards.

It's hard establishing yourself as a club, with your short history, it may be another few decades before you gain passionate support like guiseley's.

Of course you don't understand it. No Tin Potter ever does. Funny that.
You were a cup final for Guiseley, your nothing to us. No Tin Potter will ever see The Shay rocking. It's just something you'll have to live with. :ds:

You should have a read through the Championship and League 1 away support threads, they make the non league one look like a nice gentle chat between friends!

Edit: I've just browsed through the League 2 away support thread and they are at it as well lol!

If you don't care why read, and post, on a thread called Non - League away support? Proper weird thing to do.

I don't care about the numbers and who brings more fans than who, but am intrigued as to why the obsession exists with other people.

Is it because fans are annoyed that clubs that are less well supported on their travels are not contributing to the coffers of the home club, or that the atmosphere is lacking when the away team don't bring a large contingent so their match day experience is diminished, or is it just a way to make themselves feel superior to supporters of teams above them in the table?
