He's got a lot of work to do before it looks like we made a mistake in letting him go.

The mistake was buying him in the first place and wasting a year and more of his development, he could be ahead of where he is now had he stayed with Palace or moved to another side where would have been a starter.

Yeah agree with that tbf. Anytime I've watched him this season though, he is looking a different player from the one I remember seeing the last few years. His ball control and touch is getting up there with Moussa Dembele at Spurs and even the great Iniesta. Still far from the finished article though and his end product still needs working on; but he could become one of the best around as the talent is there alright.

He's actually been really hit and miss for a few seasons discounting last season, where he started to show that he might actually be able to fulfill some of the potential that always gets talked about.

The coming season is a massive one for him.
