Sutton away will be a good marker for us. Win and my optimism grows. Difficult test.

Be prepared for some proper industrial stuff, I think they’ll do well and fair to them they’re good at it, but it’s not pretty.

Top of the table clash at Crawley.:woot:

Gordon looked to have pulled a hamstring last night. Could be an issue as I don't think we have anyone who can play his role...maybe one of the loaners

Unsurprisingly I think Nads n Nics might be up for this one, your passing and retaining possession football might just suit us too

Walsall at home, looking forward to this one. Our home form is terrific, already beaten Walsall at home in our unbeaten run from the back end of last season. Not sure what to make of Walsall, having Johnson back obviously makes them dangerous but they dont seem to be the beat defensively anymore and I think if we go at them like we did 2nd half vs Newport we will have success.

Crewe 2-1 Walsall (Long, Adebisi, Johnson) 5,522 (1300 Saddlers)

Morecambe (a) - Derek Adams

Jamie Walker is probably still inured. As per County away:

GK: Harry Lewis

CB: Matty Platt
CB: Sam Stubbs
CB: Cieran Kelly

RWB: Dan Oyegoke
CM: Alex Pattison
CM: Ritchie Smallwood
LWB: Alex Gilliead

RW: Tyler Smith
ST: Andy Cook
LW: Clarke Oduor

Be good to see Pattison continue his goalscoring form. More importantly, Cook notches his first goal.

I think we’ll ramp things up abit here. Would love to see us turn them over, not because it’s Morecambe, but more so because it’s Adams. He’s gonna receive some right pelters at the weekend.

3-0 City (1,700 travelling with 100’s in home end).

I can’t see how you’d have a problem against morecambe they were dire last saturday, it would be basically impossible not to score against them.

Crewe 2-2 Walsall is my guess. Guaranteed to concede in the first 20. Danny Johnson and Liam Gordon to claw us back after going 2 down.

Wrexham 2-3 Swindon.

No way we're keeping a clean sheet but also expect us to score.

Could frankly be anything other than 0-0!

Should be the game of the day at Wrexham. We’ve had an incredible 65 shots in the 3 games we’ve played so far - we’ll rub over the fact only a third we’re on target! Hopefully we’ll have some of the 6 missing last night back. Our midfield only seem capable of going forward - they give zero protection to the defence. Shit or bust approach from Flynn.
Both teams to score has to be nailed on.

We can't defend for our life's so far. Missing Haydens pace in the back 3. Could he one of our crazy games we always have a fair few during a season.

4-4

tbh BTTS in the grimsby mansfield match is 8/11 with sky, given we’ve scored 2,2,3 and 2 and both away games have been 2-2….

Nah. they were conference standard, we should’ve scored a few more than we did tbh, anyone with decent attacking options will score against them.

They’ve had 2 home games so far but you’re the first recognised decent side to go, still think you’ll win.

Hope so, mate. Just Derek Adams being terrible for us has me thinking he'll pull something out.

i just loved last week when he said the game was close and we had a similar amount of chances.

Morecambe had 5 and we had 26

Not surprised. He did the same when he brought his Plymouth side to Valley Parade. We battered them all game and they beat us 1-0 with their only chance. He came out after saying they had dominated the game and that we didn't have any chances. Bloke is deluded.

Will be interesting then as we've also been starting slow and and finishing very strong. We've come back from 2 down in 2 of our 3 games and in the other we scored 3 in the 2nd half.

Have y'all sold out? Both away crowds so far have been sellout crowds, I feel it's now a decent gauge of how tinpot you are if you don't sell out your allocation at our place (Southerners NOT excluded).

I think in the last 20 years we've only lost to Walsall once home and away so I'm expecting that run to continue at the weekend.

Keep Johnson quiet and I'll fancy us to win comfortably. Question marks still over the keeper Harvey Davies, but we look dangerous going forward and are a menace from set pieces. Hopefully Demetriou gives Daniels a torrid time when up for set pieces, he was awful for us.

3-1 win for us. Hopefully be able to attend as well if traffic is kind to me on my round in the morning!

It's funny cause Daniels has been an absolute Rolls Royce for us, just oozes class.

We did have him in League One tbf. When he wasn't injured, which was rare, he was assisting the opposition in scoring against us. What he did vs Cheltenham on opening day 2 years ago really set the tone for our disastrous season.
